Stephano had 4 games played on his main account before the qualifier. So if he's planning any huge come back, he aint showing it. Just think about it, why quit uni when you can play casual and still make money??

That said, his games vs Demu were amazing. Watching him qualify was the most entertainment I had watching sc2 in weeks. I think he's one of those players who just plays much better under pressure or in front of a crowd.

Wow... looking at the bracket, it's hard to believe Stephano made it. I hope he does well.

I especially think he plays his best when he's considered to be an underdog.

Nice Rise Against reference! :D indeed it has been greatly exaggerated.

that's not a rise against reference. lol. it's a commonly known apocryphal quote usually attributed to mark twain

So I guess the status of Naniwa is still in doubt? Ah well. Congrats to everyone who made it. Lol Golden, if at first you don't succeed, yolo through the next qualifier. Also Stephano is surprising. Retirement my ass lol.

Won't be in a few days. They'll need to allow another spot from the ladder wildcard qualifier if they need to replace him. If they don't have an extra spot he is playing. Unless ESL decides they are going to leave that up to Naniwa's spur of the moment decision when Challenger will be played (a thoroughly bad idea)

In before Naniwa hits Stephano in challenger and neither turn up.

Stephano never played a lot before tournaments. It's no wonder he can deliver good games with barely any training.

They like the trends in the game and no one truly retires. Surprised? Me thinks not.

Of course Stephano just streams for a single day and makes it into Challenger League.

Classic Stephano move.

if you can't get hyped for stephano you should probably just give up pretending you even like this game

Perhaps he practiced on an alt account?

Scarlett's been practicing in Korea, and is already in Challenger League. Making it through the Challenger League qualifier does not a top foreigner make.

It seems like your memory lasts about a month or so
