Also grats to Golden, First, and Elfi! well he didn't come out of nowhere. If you look up the viewer statistics of player streams, he was always most viewed. but he wasn't successfull at competing in some tournaments though he didn't take them serious.
However to me it is a bit out of nowhere, that he now wants to play real tournaments again. But I am looking forward to it, though not expecting much from him at first.

There is an obvious reason, but if you say that out loud, you get banned. But I will say the other one, which is: with other races you have pretty good cheeses or early allins that require not that much skill but work with a high percentage and "even foreigner" can pull them of (like blink allin, baneling bust etc). This adds some randomness to the game, which is good, but also leads to some problems, like even though there could be THE best player on the planet, he can fall to cheese again and again in a best of 3 or 5 because of it being impossible to be scouted from time to time (hidden buildings or whatever). Terrans ofc have cheeses (like bunkerrush) but they are harder to pull of or easier to defend against then a blink allin or so.

If Stephano would come back full time and get close to his past performances, he might resuscitate the entire foreign scene and a healthy boost to the dropping tournaments and streaming viewership. And thats something SC2 really needs right now.

I hope stephano to fulfil his destiny ! Burying excitement and SC2 esport under an infinite amount of locust!

I thought the tournament viewership was fine. Sure the player streams have gone down but who wants to watch epileptic ladder sessions when there are so many real competitions to watch nowadays.

Oh. My. God. Stephano!!!! Maybe a good time to get back to the game myself, so I know whats going on :D

Plus Stephano is still no. 1 streamer.

Would you care to explain why there never was an abundance of Terrans even when the race was clearly OP?

If you think that an 11/11 Bunker Rush is harder to pull off than a Blink all-in then you truly are lost... You ever tried winning with 11/11? It's pretty easy to hold of even if you scout it late.
Blink is not hard to pull of, and WAY harder to defend.
