Another Code S season with a record-low Terran count of three has been avoided, as the teamless SuperNova made his way through Thursday night's Code A groups alongside JinAir_TRUE, Samsung_Stork, and IM_Squirtle.
SuperNoVa finished in first place in Group I, defeating KT_TY in his first match before meching his way past TRUE in the winner's match. TY defeated former fOu head coach ChoyaPrime to earn a second chance to advance to Code S and increase the Terran count to five, but was forced to tap out against TRUE and his crazed, baneling-heavy style of play.
In Group J, the Protoss duo of Stork and Squirtle advanced to Code S in what was mostly an uneventful series of games. However, one exceptional blunder from ST_Pet made it a Code A group to remember. Pet appeared to have a 2-1 victory in the bag after opening fast pool against Stork's nexus-first on Alterzim Stronghold, but committed the colossal error of pulling back his Zerglings after they entered the correct base. Pet failed to account for the small vision radius of zerglings, backing off when Stork's nexus was just inches away from being discovered. Pet realized his mistake after failing to find Stork at any of the other starting locations, but by then it was too late. Stork had already established his defenses and easily held off Pet's zergling attack to take the victory.

I guess I already know where hitmaN and MyuNgSiK will end up tomorrow. When looking at the players in their groups I wouldn't be surprised if all 3rd places of the last 6 Code A groups would be claimed by KT members Q_Q....
It was pretty sad to see Choya lose the way he did, if it wasnt for nerves and not blocking his natural gap he would have demolished TRUE. I hope he gets over that stuff. Also Stork roader inbound
Stork made Code S but Flash and TY didn't? what? hard news to take lol. I still remember when Stork was on that 11 or 12 game losing streak in PL and then he managed to win one XD
So Jin Air haven't had a great start to Proleague Round 3 and lost to KT but their Zergs have qualified for Code S at the expense of KT players in both cases. Interesting.

Also in the last TY vs TRUE game, TRUE attacked him with well over 100 banelings at the same time. Haven't seen that many banelings since NesTea's glory days.

Either that or he is hoping for a foreign team, but at this point I kind of just want him picked up already. It worries me seeing such a good player teamless for so long.
