ez vZ vs Rogue and then either Taeja or Stardust, both of which are beatable. Taeja hasn't looked very good in TvZ recently (lost 0-4 to Ragnarok just a few days ago and barely beat Revival 3-2 two days earlier) and Stardust's recent PvZ history tells me that he's among the more beatable Protosses in Katowice.
Best-case scenario would be sOs going out to Oz, in which case Life would have the best possible road to the finals
I'm a big fan of Life, and a big fan of his recent ZvZ, but Rogue I'm not sure about. 3:1 vs Soulkey in the qualifier to get here means some pretty solid ZvZ himself. I think Life's experience in foreign tournaments will carry him through though.

Don't underestimate Rogue
Aside from his insane qualifier run, Rogue hasn't been very good in vZ, most recently losing to Hydra (albeit Bo1). Life, on the other hand, is on an 8-match win streak in ZvZ (for a total of 19-4). Rogue isn't helpless, but Life is definitely the favorite.

And herO can go out in first round already considering Hyun's form in open bracket, even if he has ridiculous PvZ.

You think that even if Polt loses to Naniwa by some miracle that Naniwa will beat HerO or Dear with no practice?
I guess, understanding of matchup > practice. Especially in PvP.
Even so I don't see him standing half a chance against either of those Protosses in PvP.

Soulkey hasn't been that good in ZvZ for the last few months. Beating him 3-1 is no joke, but it's not incredibly impressive.

He would lose to Taeja, again.
Yes, Taeja's games against Ragnarok truly showed his vZ prowess at the moment.

6-2 DH.
That was in November, and November was four months ago. Do you want to talk about GSL? MLG? Probably not, because they're not as recent. Taeja going 0-4 against Ragnarok and 3-2 against Revival days ago shows certain weakness in the match-up. I'm not saying he's weak, but saying that because he beat Life at DH he'll beat him again no matter what is far-fetched, even for a fan.

Online is completely different to offline and Taeja has shown that he's not very good online in the past.

I think it would be hilarious if Rogue won the event, clearly being the most "faceless" of the participants. I would love to see all the fanboys here on the forum rage about it like they always did with Sniper or with sOs after Blizzcon.

Alright, let's look at Asus ROG, which was played offline:
3-0 Serral 1-3 Sortof 3-2 Serral

And besides, you always go on hype trains about Taeja's IPL TAC performance, but now suddenly online doesn't matter? Which is it, exactly?
