We’re planning to implement StarCraft II Patch 2.1 next week. This patch includes more levels and new rewards, new changes to Clans and Groups, a 100% free Arcade, remastered Classic StarCraft and StarCraft: Brood War music, adjustments to the league distribution percentages on the ladder, Extension Mods, and many other features. We’ve seen a big uptick in promotions, and every player that we’ve spot-checked (including at least one who posted in this thread) has been statistically affected as expected. The process of making league distribution better align with the desired percentages wasn’t expected to be instantaneous, and we will continue to monitor results very closely. We’re on it. I (or another CM) will check back in on the issue for you, and update you again tomorrow. So it's kinda hard to tell what's really going on. | ||

Although a single played. This is absolutely incorrect. You are overestimating the errors in the league distribution, probably because you are using sc2ranks which doesn't work for the purpose. This is an old post, but still relevant: http://us.battle.net/sc2/en/forum/topic/10660146024#9 "The SC2Ranks/Nios.kr have never at any time reflected the target ladder distribution because they don't apply Blizzard's hidden internal activity metric. So, while the leagues may actually be out of whack, you wouldn't be able to tell from those sites anyway." | ||
