Its the closest thing that makes kind of sense but it just sounds very strange ;x It literally translates to "Playersearch" Kind of like as if you would use a Search option on TL to look for a player :X My Google.Translate gives stupid alternatives such as "matchmaking" in the sense of Marriage coupling etc :O

At last I got a reasonable translation, but it took some time. Anyways, those words have already been translated more than once in other game, you could take a peek at how other translators have solved it.

I actually think that everyone in this demorgraphic does not need a german translation at all but still id like to give it my best :D "Ranglistenspiel" would probably be better, since I can use as a title and in the "Your matchmaking match was ended by an admin." part... Spielersuche wouldnt fit there at all. On March 12 2014 00:00 Sikian wrote: Hahaha, I had the same problem with the spanish translation. At last I got a reasonable translation, but it took some time. Usually I am not a big fan of "memes" but if you could just sneakily replace the "queue" button with "Me Gusta" then it would actually motivate me to play way more ;D ;D;D And abort queue "Me no gusta" On a serious note: Do you use formal or informal speech? De or Usted?(my spanish is bad not even sure this makes sense) I use formal atm ("Sie" instead of "du").

You can, sadly they are terrible(like making only first units I think), but it is still good way to see what you need to see, units, abilities, upgrades, cost etc. Build orders, timings, unit counters come with experience.

Your best bet is to go to the Starbow channel and ask if anyone wants to play some unranked games to test out units and stuff. There are probably people in the same position as you that would want to play.

This is how I started although I got paired with a guy that destroyed me :D But when he could not play anymore it motivated me to download the Eros client and find more opponents and I even won some games on that first day

Well, I'm not sure if I can convince my friend to end his bachelor party at 6, but I'll try my best. Sometimes friends listen to reason.

How the F*** should I translate "Matchmaking"? I think I should just leave that one in english :X (any1 running the German sc2 client? how did Blizzard translate it?) You could just say "Match finding" or something like that.
