Maybe it’s for the best. Curious has coasted along comfortably for too long, being considered "good enough to beat anyone in the world" without really having to prove it. Though a select few players become remembered for their extraordinary consistency, that's far from the most glamorous fate a progamer could wish for. After all, what's the reason anyone becomes a pro-gamer in the first place? It's not just because you like playing games—it's because you want to become better than everyone else. I think for a lot of people the 'like playing games' part came first :D

Mvp was meching against some Aussie player to "please the fans" not long ago and LOST, and we know that Mvp is the best mech player period. Mech is never used with the purpose of WINNING. And the mutas. There is something wrong with being able to one control group 40 mutas with speed 4 and fast healing. Not sure how to fix this t it is just wrong ^^. Players only mech to lose, heard it here first

It was nice to see Curious beat Flash, he's sort of the forgotten man of SC2 and this result has put him in the limelight. He would make a good champion of this IEM NY, i hope he does it seeing as my fav player Polt cant attend

Great write-up Curious vs. San finals please!

These little player spotlight thingies are cool, keep doing them (preferably one for Mvp in the next tournament he plays in) :D

Love these articles. Thanks!

I love these. Great writeup!

What about San? He looks better than the other Protoss players who are still in the tournament IMO, and he also has RIDICULOUSLY good PvZ.
Edit: That doesn't mean that Curious won't go really deep though, I think he's looking fantastic this tournament as well.

And winning against Innovation 2-1 also showed nothing. Not saying that he is next best Zerg, but he has improved a lot during past month and is definitely one of the Zergs to watch. His ZvT is just beautiful.

Curious is so good I really hope that he'll win this tournament and gain some exposure outside of the gsl-hardcore fans.

Summoning the dark lord didnt work so he build a nexus instead. Edit: wrong thread
OT: I hope Curious gets far this IEM.

Interesting Read, thanks.
