More than likely, they won't get through the qualifier, like many other rushed teams formed w/ solo q'ers.
The team names are Optimus (one w/ Marineking) and Sentinel. according to the inven comments, the players they recruited seem to have some name value in the community. there were people saying they expected them to be able to make ro16, but not much after that. making champions alone is quite a feat and a huge step towards stability and making something happen Actually, the entire roster of Prime team consists of amateurs w/ no pro gaming experience. None of them are in challenger, so I'll give them the benefit of the doubt that they're atleast in D1. Even then, the team synergy, play calling, strategies, and mentality are not something you can just find in solo queue. To give you a perspective, CJ Blaze's new mid and adc, are #7 and #25 in challenger with 60%+ ratio, and even they're the weak link of the team atm. Those korean comments are hypes about the coach, who recently retired from Sudden? (fps game, im assuming) with no LoL background experience. I'm not trying to be mean here, just realistic.
It's Sudden Attack, a Korean FPS similar to Counterstrike I believe. This reminds me that one of their players is actually a former Woongjin Stars Special Forces player, who has been preparing his League debut for 2 years.
Their coach is actually Sweet, a former WC3 pro from KR (undead).

He's out of WCS. Region lock is incoming, so he can't go to an easier region in 2014. Prime is in zero team leagues. What the fuck was he supposed to do for the rest of the year? Practice SC2
god forbid pro players hone their skills!

I'm crying a little bit right now. Manly tears of course. Has anyone seen opterown around? We may need to put him on suicide watch (only half joking).

oh my god.. no.. MKP ...

............ What the fuck? I love MarineKing and I'm happy for him for deciding and everything but wtf?

Even as a DRG fan i would be devastated. BOXER? lol ....MKP has so many more achievements than Boxer in SC2. MKP has more achievements than anyone that has retired in SC2 imo, including Stephano.

-MarineKing wishes to replicate his presence and achievements in the SC2 scene for the LoL scene
So he wants to get second in every tournament his team enters?
|
Sad. Guess that explains his listless performances of late, if he's been long preparing to switch to LoL.

Dammit, one of my favorite players, a pillar of the Terran strength, one of its strongest and most iconic representatives, now also gone...

LOL so mean. Getting 2nd even once would be unbelievably, mind blowingly beastly though

I dont even know what to say. I mean it was undeniable that he hasnt shown results in over 10 months, but still- he was one of the original best sc2 players.
