Riemann or Hilbert will do, if we are to talk about similar period of time. Riemann was living like 100 years before Einstein. After Hilbert you should go with Poincare (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Henri_Poincaré). But Einstein without a doubt was more than excellent mathematician. You can't be modern theoretical physicist without it.

Just get over it. Just think of all the achievements LoL has earned in the last year...the biggest charity event was done in LoL, the biggest e-sport event was done by LoL...you should learn that 1 game is doing what has to be done to take e-sports to another level.

Well let me explain why I am an anti-LoL elitist, in fact I don't really dislike the game at all, I think it is moderately fun, and almost as good as the WC3 map that started the whole genre. I hate what Riot represents. They are the the archetype for the bastardization of this entire industry (not that ActiBlizzion is much better at this point, but I digress). Video games used to be an art form. Made by nerds who grew up playing D&D and wanted to recreate that feeling. Riot was founded by a guy from Bain & Co and another from UBS. They saw the opportunity to take an art form, can it, package it, and make it appeal to the unwashed masses. It also uses that horrible free to play system which more or less relies on getting players addicted to the game drug dealer style and then sucking out their life force. See this article for why F2P is a horrible system and a very slippery slope for the industry. Maybe I'm just being paranoid or stuck in the past, but I see a bleak future when a game like LoL is #1 in the world.

I do hope he does well, and I can definitely see why he would switch (his results fell to almost nothing when Hots came out). I really wish he would have switched to Dota though, I've tried watching LoL for a while when I was comparing whether to play that or Dota, and it's just not nearly as exciting.

Einstein however, while being without a doubt an excellent mathematician, was a physicist (well, we call him so after all). So Einstein teaching maths to small kids in that context would be MKP coaching gold league tosses, and not switching to LoL.

This isn't like proleague where not so top players (teams) have somewhere to shine outside of the top top leagues, there is very little opportunity outside OGN qualifiers to Champions to do show yourself in the korean pro scene on the same level as MKP did in SC2.

I work in corporate finance so I can't say I'm feeling particularly artsy today. What are they, then? What are movies? See this article for why F2P is a horrible system and a very slippery slope for the industry. Maybe I'm just being paranoid or stuck in the past, but I see a bleak future when a game like LoL is #1 in the world. I use the same quote for you: "I think you are just angry because league is a bigger e-sport than starcraft. Just get over it. Just think of all the achievements LoL has earned in the last year...the biggest charity event was done in LoL, the biggest e-sport event was done by LoL...you should learn that 1 game is doing what has to be done to take e-sports to another level." Let me say a couple of more things: - Do you think its good for this industry to develop a expansion for more 2+ years and in the end spend more money advertising it than the actual game? You say. I say. Everyone says. This game has huge flaws, hurting the main purpose of this game: to have fun. I quit SC2 because i couldn't find fun in it. Why should i play a game where to achieve success is required to just grind over and over again so you get a automatic answer to every game situation you encounter? well, thats how i got to masters: if a player do X, react Y. If a player do A, react B...and so on. Is this fun? no. Is this broodwar? Never. I was a hardcore SC2 fan but this game has gone to bananas since the end of WOL.
