Not because i hate that game (i just don't like it) but i love seeing Flash building things and crushing with a big army.

I found it so much harder than sc2 T_T making diamond (when it was the highest) with all 3 races on separate accts was so easy... less than 50 games each. Sure, getting to mid-high masters was a challenge but not that bad... merely getting to gold in LoL was a fking nightmare edit: no prior moba or rts experience whatsoever They say it's easy because it's mechanically WAY less demanding. There's no way in hell you could call it easy though, it's a competitive game after all and requires a LOT of knowledge (and still great mechanics) to do well. Some people are more naturally suited to one type of game or the other too. I'm better at Starcraft, but a couple of my friends who can't come close to touching me in Starcraft (despite playing at least as much as me) are 1000x better than me at LoL or DOTA. EDIT: Almost forgot the actual point of my post ![]() I'd be pretty sad to see MKP go...if it was 2012, it's been a long time since he was a relevant player. Of course it's always sad to know for sure there's no way back for him...but to be honest it was obvious from his play he was never going to be a force again in Starcraft. Hopefully he can do well in LoL (but he is starting out a long way behind).

We have not seen a decline as a result of the rise of "DOTA Games." We don't see any "threat." They are very different games with very different types of players who want to play them. http://www.reddit.com/r/IAmA/comments/19sg1x/we_are_dustin_browder_alan_dabiri_and_david_kim/c8qypuk

This is good for SC2.... there were too many professional players before. Now we are getting closer to an equilibrium where SC2 will have more new blood like Life/Sora. Cycle of life and death!

He has already left his mark but it's still sad to see him go. Good luck in LoL, MKP :'(

Besides, dota2 is getting more popular, even in South Korea and might even catch up to LoL someday. ^^' Don't get me wrong, there are several reasons why LoL is so popular: great timing in releasing the game, great support for both casual and pro-players by RIOT, great marketing, it's accessible etc. But IMHO, heavily e-sports-related people will sooner or later move on to the more complex and sophisticated game, if it doesn't heavily lack in other parts (which Dota2 doesn't, in any other form than the lower number of players). So to get back to the topic: Why doesn't some dota2 Team pick up MKP? I mean, there are already several Korean SC2 Pro-Teams with Dota2 Teams (ST, MVP, FXO) and it could be a great popularity-booster for dota2. That's the kind of advertising that will really bring new Players and Viewers to your game and that's exactly where RIOT does everything right - I bet they got MKP an offer or sth. or maybe even the allure of the tons of Prize-money for a moderately hard to play game was enough. League is the premium game in KR and pretty much all around the world. LoL keeps refreshing their game by having mana-less heroes, lots of patches and reworks etc. All these while having enough depth to play around. fun wise, popularity wise, it seems MKP is siding with League and I can't really say it is a wrong choice. just look at how big that world final was, pretty sure it broke quite a lot of records there.

![]() I loved MKP back in the day when he was still one of the top terrans. Seeing him getting out of GSL was really sad, he is a very emotional guy, and while his passion carried him for a long time he seemed for sure to be losing it. I hope he'll do well in LoL on the opposite of pretty much all the other sc2 players that tried to switch, and that at least he'll smile again even if not on the game we would like him to play.

IF Flash was forced to switch game id hope he would play dota2 Flash vs Mushi midlane would be......awesome. lol midlane action is just boring.
