But so sad to see Bisu go. I was really hoping he'd stick around and try to make it or even switch races to Terran, but it seems it's just not his game.

He has practically been invisible in the SC2 scene. A player of his caliber won't put up with that for long. Stork next I guess.

Only 5 of them were "champions". They are: Stork Flash Hydra Effort Fantasy Beside those 5, nobody have titles under their belts.

Two really likable dudes too, really a shame. Bisu may have quit, but the Bisu build shall forever live on.

After all, it's not possible quit Starcraft 2. It's not the right place nor time for absurd humor. Please restrain yourself from silly jokes. On the other hand, so much overreaction in this thread, I can't help but smile. All of your pros will retire one day. All of them will die by the way, too, at some point. It's only natural. Basketball didn't die after Jordan or Stockton retired, SC2 won't die after Bisu retires. Who even wasn't any good in SC2 at all, to be sure. From SC2 perspective his retirement is so insignificant, something comparable to Eve's retirement. It's just that those nostalgia glasses sometimes have way too many dioptres, may distort your view...

Interesting thing is if people would do a chart that compared retirement times for pure BW gamers (like how long it took iloveoov to retire, etc) vs hybrid BW/SC2 gamers. I'd imagine SC2 had only a minor effect on the actual rate of retirement because a lot of these players were statistically ready for retirement. Yes, I love it too, it's like when people claim "SC2 is dying!" Well, after most games are released, their popularity spikes and then declines slowly over the years and years to follow. That is called "dying" when it is not growing. BW was "dying" for 10 years in the West and possibly having still small declines in Korea as well. People don't understand "dying" in terms of a game at all.

So you're not counting Jaedong because he's not KeSPA, or what? o_O Also, keep in mind that TLBS + Jangbi + Fantasy accounted for probably > half of MSL/OSL finalists since 2008... edit: 17/22 OSL finalists, 12/20 MSL finalists anyway, maybe afreeca Ps will soon be doing very well vZ ![]()

Both Bisu and Stork were legendary in BW and had, to me knowledge, no success of any particular note ever in SC2. That has to be just an absolutely soul-crushing transition. I don't think many people would have ranked Bisu in their top 10 Protoss lists, and one can only handle that sort of step down for so long.
