Good luck to Bisu in the future.
Sad to see him retire but who knows. Maybe we will see him after his mandatory service.

SC2 is fine, the scene has way more 'pro' players than it can realistically sustain. It's just natural shrinking post the Kespa switch and many of the names would've retired regardless of the state of SC2 due to military service/poor performance/other commitments/age.

Beside those 5, nobody have titles under their belts.

Mind is still on KT Rolster's roster (GOMTV MSL Season 3 champion).

It's unfortunate that SC2 has more players than it can sustain because the audience hasn't been the same size since the transition; having 8-10 teams isn't too big if you have enough eyeballs; 12 may have been too much, but 8-10 teams are just fine. New blood hasn't been forthcoming from KeSPA teams though, lots of their new acquisitions were eSF talent.

bisu was good in bw but he never really adapted to sc2.Kespa teams are probably beginnig to oust veterans with big names and high salaries who can not deliver results and try to form new talent that can actually win them tournaments. It is already bad for them that esf teams and some foreigners are better and can beat some of their top players like rain and innovation. Also if flash does not deliver in the next 2 wcs seasons I would expect him to retire too.

When I started watching Starcraft in 2007 Bisu was INVINCIBLE. I remember how he used to scout very well - like way earlier than the other pros - and then just adapt to whatever his opponent was doing and beat him. This is such a huge blow to Starcraft and it makes it incredibly much harder for sc2 to attract a big audience in Korea.

Its just one tragedy after another now. I wish we could switch back to BW.

Must be hard to see his fellow BW legends do so well in SC2 (Jaedong+Flash) and then he finds himself playing SC2 Protoss :D jk, but Protoss in SC2 is the most different from BW playstyle and while Bisu did well in SC1 he's probably not 'as' godly skilled as the other two.

It'll be a shame if Bisu doesn't start streaming BW on afreeca and playing in Sonic leagues.

If he does do those things, then this is fantastic news.

Jangbi said Bisu was doing well in practice and he would most likely not retire. I read this recently trying to find where though >> might not have been jangbi.
