To mark the halfway point of the Up/Down matches, Jin Air's Pigbaby and MVP's KeeN secured two more spots in upcoming Code S tournament. As in the previous groups, a bit-part Proleague player caused a stir, with Jin Air's (formerly Team 8) PigBaby going 3 - 1 and securing first place in the group.
Tie-breakers ended up being required to determine second place, as KeeN, Avenge, and Ruin would all end the initial round of games tied up at 2 - 2. The frequent Code S participant KeeN proved to be the best player in the tie-breaks, quickly securing two wins over his opponents to take his Code S spot.
Avenge and Ruin now head to the Challenger League, alongside Leenock who finished 1 - 3 in the group.

The reason Leenock is mentioned but Ruin and Avenge aren't is because Leenock is a champion and popular player in the foreign scene. I bet there's thousands of people on TL that don't even know who Avenge and Ruin are...

sucks that he actually did spend ten straight seasons in the top flight korean league, only to have one of them not count.
If Mr Chae wasn't a retardedly biased IM fanboy, Leenock would have gotten the award.
"Oh you did the requirement of 10 Code S seasons in a row? Shame it wasn't the right type of Code S huehuelolol ^_^_^_^" - Mr Chae 2013
And yes I am mad. Dunno why Mr Chae decided to do like he did. And also if Blizzard had started the WCS system one season later Leenock would have gotten it as well.
Should just give Leenock the award and then if DRG/MKP qualifies them as well. And then discontinue the award altogether cause it will take 4 years to get it now.
I would be sad if Leenock dropped out of his 9th season. But it wasn't his 9th, it was his 10th and he did what was required.

It's still disrespectful to Ruin and Avenge, I think that's the point he's making.
You can still mention "Leenock, Ruin and Avenge falls to Code A". Just 3 more words. And the name "Leenock" is still in the headline to make it sensational.
