Worse case there will be 6 zerg, 12 toss, 13 terran. And that is probably the best case scenario in the long term for zerg...

Yes the game itself may be beautiful, with nice strategy decisions, good control, amazing harass from both sides, but then X just blindly walks into the "nice conclave" from Y and suddenly loses a game he almost won (from yesterday's WCS EU). I find it hard to enjoy all the amazing strategy decisions and unit control if they don't matter in a long run, if you can make one mistake and undo everything you did before. Coincidentally that's also why I enjoy "cheese" games way more than so called "macro", when there's a rush everything suddenly matters, you make a mistake you lose, then I enjoy decisions and unit / economy control very much. I also find it hard to take seriously absolutely any claims of player X being "best in the world" or "Among the elite few" when the very next day they lose to "mediocre" players. To me everyone looks about the same skill level. I mean c'mon, with all the hype behind them, Life and Leenock are now in Code A. Life even managed to lose to foreigners in Dreamhack, not to take anything away from them, but none of them were ever hyped half as much as Life. Yes, jokes of Artosis curse and such are fun once in a while, but ultimately we are here to see top level games from supposedly top level players. If even seasoned casters fail to predict who wins so often, isn't it a coin toss for all intents and purposes? I don't even know what/who is to blame, a game, a skill ceiling, players, tournament formats, nothing/nobody. I would be genuinely interested in statistical analysis of 2013 tournament results compared to what we'd expect from coin toss tournaments of the same format. Buying a beer to anyone who does it as long as it's valid, professional, scientific ![]()

I think we should start a movement to get Pigbaby to change his name back to Haruhi. ^^;; Or I'm just going to call him Haruhi whenever I see him play. Nevertheless, I hope he does well in Code S next season!

At least Keen advanced. Swagger was a least funny, like MVP, but less witty. But PigBaby is a new all time "Good fucking luck with that Artosis," high.

Shame it wasn't the right type of Code S huehuelolol ^_^_^_^" - Mr Chae 2013 And yes I am mad. Dunno why Mr Chae decided to do like he did. And also if Blizzard had started the WCS system one season later Leenock would have gotten it as well. Should just give Leenock the award and then if DRG/MKP qualifies them as well. And then discontinue the award altogether cause it will take 4 years to get it now. I would be sad if Leenock dropped out of his 9th season. But it wasn't his 9th, it was his 10th and he did what was required. Blame the WCS system, not Mr Chae. It is the same reason that even tough a ton of eSF players that had code S before are suddenly royal roader contenders.

The best players are almost to spread out and I miss seeing them pitted up against eachother. This is of course just my opinion, but it seems like only WCS Europe is actually succeeding in holding a proper WCS tournament. Bring back the REAL code S, it doesn't feel the same anymore. This. I hardly watch any tournaments at all anymore since WCS was introduced. I check the results, but I watch like 2 or 3 games a month if I randomly see Mvp or Bomber playing. Before WCS I watched as much GSL, GSTL and other Korean tournaments as I possibly could. It just feels weird and boring now. Also Mvp, MC etc not playing in Korea is fucking retarded. But I guess we can't undo it anymore... Well, atleast Keen advanced.

It was Chae's decision to make OSL Code S not count. Not WCS system. He could have made OSL count as well and Leenock would've gotten the award. But w/e Leenock obviously has to do 11 seasons a in row for an award for 10. Because fuck logic

We all know it's Code S. So it is 9 seasons of GOM Code S and then 1 season of OGN Code S. It was Code S nontheless and he qualified through GOMtv Up and Down last season. If it had been a completely separate qualifier I wouldn't argue. But 10 seasons in a row is 10 seasons in a row. Oh well, SC2 just lost a few more viewers until he gets the award. Deserving ppl not getting what they achieved is pretty bullshit. It's like changing the prizepool in a tournament right before the final.

Even back in the Brood War days MSL and OSL (and GOM Classic) were always separate entities. Why would an achievement in an OGN tournament count towards a GOM tournament series title? Hardly reasonable. And lol @ "SC2 just lost a few more viewers until he gets the award." Wow... that line was so edgy you managed to cut me even though we're not in the same country. XDDDDDDD

If the same happened to DRG i would be upset too so i see where youre coming from but it just doesnt make sense
