After signing one of the now strongest Starcraft 2 players in the world, StarDust, and the strongest Call of Duty 4 team on the globe, we are very proud to announce that the former NSHS player Jung “jjakji” Ji Hoon will conclude our Starcraft 2 roster.
We would like to provide you with some information on what will be happening to JJakjis career in Starcraft 2 from now on:
Jjakji is currently playing in the contender division of WCS Korea and will try to requalify for the premier division in the beginning of August. In case of him not beeing able to reach the premier division again, jjakji will forfeit his contender division spot and move to Bern, Switzerland to continue his practice in our teamhouse. Either way you will see jjakji playing in WCS Europe in 2014, since he will move to switzerland after his WCS Korea Season 3 matches are done.
Statement Jung “jjakji” Ji Hoon: Many people wonder why i joined mYinsanity. Since i started as a progamer, I yearn for foreigner premier tournaments(DH MLG IEM all other). I did not get many opportunites in NSH. Unfortunately , my old team NSH now disbanded. I want to get the opportunity to participate in foreigner premier tournament. I was trying to contact lots of team. As a result , i concluded that mYinsanity can give me best condition. I am really exciting about the new Challenge. Ability is of little account without opportunity. Opportunities are the beginning of great enterprises. I will sweep EU Ladder, EU tournaments and other tournaments soon. Cheer me up!
So even if he makes it into premier for season 1 2014 he's going to move to EU? Its kind of sad to see WCS Korea lose another GSL champion to WCS EU/AM but really awesome to see Jjakji happy
I look forward to rooting for him at the events he's in
It's awesome that Myinsanity do this. So many foreign teams who aren't, let's say, major teams, sign koreans and nothing really change. But by bringing them to their teamhouse in Europe, it's a big investment, for the team and for the player.
I hope to see a lot of good coming from this. I've always been a fan of mister Jjakji.

Can't help but wonder how they finance this. I'm in Basel every week and cost of living in Switzerland seems to be really high.
They probably have good financial backing, they have been around forever IIRC
If forever is 2009 then yes, but otherwise no.
Well, looks like they made the best offer compared to other western teams. Wonder why other, bigger teams didn't put more effort in getting a player like Jjakji. Anyway, I hope this works out for him, even if I wished him to join a certain other team

Wish all the best to jjakji and his new team! It was always obvious that NSH was unable to fund trips for him to foreign tournaments, and I guess he was really disappointed it wasn't himself sweeping up everyone else's money. I'm glad he found a team that can fulfill his desires! jjakji fighting!

While I don't want to start an argument with you, or basically anyone, CoD 4 is in this case PC Call of Duty with Promod which to me at least, feels like a bit more dynamic version of Counter-Strike as the only real competitive mode is Search and Destroy. EU's CoD4 Promod scene has been around for quite some time though it's definitely not as big as CS, it's still one of the biggest FPS over here I'd say.
Anyway, great pickup for mYi. I'm really eager to see what Jjakji can do once he's in the teamhouse, practicing with StarDust and the other guys. Seems like that worked out for StarDust, maybe it will for Jjakji as well.
Jjakji in Europe? God yes! It's sad NSH had to disband, but we all knew that Jjakji wouldn't have a difficult time finding a new team. Even though i like the Esf teams it's nice to see that foreign teams keep attracting good players.
Although Jjakji hasn't put up great results after his GSL championship he is a top end Korean Terran. He has the talent to get back on top of the world, he just needs more opportunities than GSL qualifiers to motivate him. Hope to see him stream a bit more and actually put his all into starcraft 2. I know he is much better than people think, maybe even better than anyone could possible imagine him to be.
I didn't even know people still played cod 4 o.O more to the point though - eventhough I have never really been a fan of jjakji i hope he does well and the team will be able to establish itself in the scene gl to them
That's really cool for the EU scene, the guys moving here (or going back and forth) to actually play here on the ladder are always welcome, I hope the scene grows stronger with a healthy amount of koreans playing here in the future. I also hope he gets many opportunities, we really didn't see enough of him for being a code s champion.

Is it just me or did Jakji give a warning to all EU? I like that confidence. Leenock vs Jakji is one of my favorite GSL Finals of all time, and i cant wait for him to return to that form. Jakji is going to be the money bandit of SC2. You read it here first
Congrats to mYi and jjakji. I always admired his terran style, and Stardust's recent breakout proves that mYi is a good team, offering professional conditions. Great pickup and hope to see more pro kor players boosting the EU schene.
I think in a strong korean team he would get back to his GSL winning form. In a foreign team I don't think he can reach that level, but it will be better for him overall.

Goodluck to both.
He should be easily top5 when he plays in EU. gogogogogo forgotten champ!
Should and could blabla. He's living of old fame untill this day that's reality, not easy top 5 i can see him struggle vs the top EU players and koreans that come over. We will see if he can back those words up soon enough i guess.
So either nobody else really waned him, or myinsanity throws a lot more money to their players than i figured (well they can maintain a house in switzerland so they aren't poor).
mYInsanity with a very strong Protoss (at least in EU) and a big Terran will become a serious EU team. I hope to see them hire a strong Zerg and all of them playing in WCS EU !
Nice to see another GSL champion in EU ! Gratz and GL
funny, I think "Cheer me up" was supposed to say "Cheer me on" - these subtle differences in idioms make a huge difference to a native speaker. Either way I will Cheer him up and make him happy, or Cheer him on and welcome all his wins with a huge scream and fist pump. JJAKJI FIGHTING!!!!! gogo WCS Premiere

They're probably the only team sending him replays to cast. All the other ones are hiding their players as much as they can. <<
The most surprising thing here to me is that CoD4 Promod is still alive. I guess it was a pretty decent game though, especially when compared with the vanilla versions of modern CoD titles...
Anyway it's good that we'll get to see Jjakji at more foreign tournaments and hopefully he brings a little more exposure to his team as well. ^^
would have liked to see him on IM, but this is cool too. i hope he'll actually be able to do some damage in foreign tournaments. good luck to both parties involved, this seems good for both sides
