It's become silent around Flash streaming. Last time was 3 months ago, please come back and stream another round

I would imagine he's working incredibly hard in practice so doesn't want to currently show anything off.

Hopefully seeing Jaedong do so well has motivated him to get back to his god flash training scheme.

"It's no secret how seriously I take my gaming hardware and it's truly an honor for me to use gaming equipment produced by Razer," said Flash. "Of all equipment manufacturers in global gaming, Razer products mean I am fully prepared to win. The way I can find subtle advantage and a feeling of stability in Razer product is very special and allows me to concentrate on the game and winning as I must."

Kind of funny that they went to the trouble of suggesting that Razer gear gives him an advantage but toned it down by calling it "subtle" to avoid making the situation seem unfair. It's quantifiable, but it's no big deal! Buy it, it won't make that much of a difference!

Well it might have been just a promotional thingy for Razer. Maybe Flash just isn't so hot on streaming, or (almost certainly) his team officials are not. I would imagine that while they acknowledge that streaming can be a viable thing to do, it's still somewhat of a nuisance, and risk cause someone may look up on his strats.

Proleague is by far the most important league in Korean Starcraft. And it has been since 06ish. Your team winning Proleague is way way way more important than anything you could ever do in an individual league or really anything else you could do as a player. Proleague uses a preparation based format and streaming basically gives your opponent free gameplay to study, and it's even better than vods as you get the first person view. Basically watching your opponents stream is the best you could get unless someone leaks you some replays. Now given that Kespa has been known to throw players out of houses for leaking those, your opponent streaming is pretty much the best thing that could ever happen to you in terms of preparation.
Now throw in that Flash plays in pretty much every game KT has and is often used as an Ace, I highly doubt we'll see him stream again.

Personally, I prefer his team and himself to perform well over watching his stream and I feel bad for him being forced to use Razer equipment, especially now that they have invented those god awful switches. No offense to Razer and I appreciate the amount of equipment/cash they are throwing at eSports, but I have never used anything from them that was good.

The harder it becomes, the more you should focus on the basics.

Agreed, I also think that the reason that Prime, MVP, and IM are at the bottom of PL is also because they have players that constantly stream which exposes their strategies by quite a lot.

Most pros really don't care. Like really really. They play with basic, cheap mice and keyboards no problem at all. Razer stuff is an advantage over that and Flash probably won't be forced to use anything outside of the spotlight. Don't have much experience with their mice but their keyboards are excellent, just as good as any other mechanical keyboard manufacturer, so he won't have to complain there. Again, most pros are used to worse and your mouse/headphones/keyboard really doesn't affect your gameplay that much (unless you've got huge acceleration issues with them or w/e)

Funny how for Koreans streaming is a chore that they do to help keep the team afloat, whereas sometimes (not a lot just "sometimes") I have this feeleing that foreign pros feel about training and winning as a chore.

Suprised you, as a Netherlander, are saying that.
Ask ret on leaking replays and getting kicked out of the house.

You realize team liquid and Acer don't play in PL, so how could they? But the point the guy is making is that Taeja and Jaedong for example stream a lot and often make it to the top 4 of major tournaments. Flash, probably doesn't stream because he doesn't want people to steal from him, or see how he plays Terran, but in all honesty I don't think there is much "innovation" left in this game.
