If he's got good ZvZ, yes. I don't see him beating HerO. I'm not sure how Scarlett's ZvZ is these days but she was freaking good at it in WoL and Revival kinda made his name through ZvZ.

I like how Group B is voted the "least dangerous" group, when it is easily the second strongest. Crank and TheSTC are the strongest players outside of Group D.

HerO? you know, the reigning NASL champion? the guy who has won the dreamhack winter championship the last 2 years? Crank and STC are great, but neither have anywhere near the accomplishments. Also there is this guy named Nestea... idk, maybe you havent heard of him? XD

Besides disagreeing with your point (HerO, Revival both are stronger than the whole of B imho), one question is on my mind: wouldn't TronJavolta make more sense?

It's really excited to see a group full of Koreans in WCS AM! I can't wait to see that group of death.
|
group D almost the NA version of Code S group B, so many good players, but still think polt and violet will make it out. other groups are easy, s-koreans should dominate once again =D

Can't wait/hoping for nestea v sen, moonglade vs crank, suppy vs Scarlett, and polt vs ryung

Most went with Group D, but I think Group C is super-nasty.

I like how the only two players that are actually from North America are in the same group... Lets hope they both make it through XD.

There are 11 Koreans of this Round of 16... Is this really a WCS America?

Pretty sure blizzard said they would pay for flights of people from within the region only. So the team or player has to pay to get into the region and then blizzard will pay the remainder of the trip if it isn't direct.

Group A: NesTea and Sen Group B : TheStC and CranK Group C: Hero and Revival Group D: aLive and Ryung

Group A: > Nestea > Sen
Group B: > Crank > Moonglade
Group C: > Hero > Scarlett
Group D: > Violet > Polt
Italics indicate likely bias in the pick.

This is a pretty bad "Americas" tournament though There is no region lock, get off it. This is a great tourney. The idea is to bolster the scene not to have a tournament for only Americas, I would watch maybe the top 4 of an Americas only tourney. The talent is just not deep enough yet.

Not too many "natives" in this tournament, but I think it will get better. The GSL did wonders for Korean starcraft. Now you have a major tournament in EU and NA where you get to play a lot of matches and they all get streamed and I do think more of it will be offline in a couple of seasons.
Anyway, there are more Norwegians in the US than there are in Norway, so why aren't you Americans rooting for Snute? He is practially American.
GoGo Snute!

I'm pulling for Suppy and Hero to make it out of Group C.
I think Scarlett's wrist issues haven't fully eased up and I'm basically praying that Suppy's ZvZ is solid enough to beat Revival... but make it so!
Not to mention I think Scarlett's going to have a hard time with HerO considering the state of balance (nerfed Infestors, safer Protoss) and how well the different races have adapted. I'm not saying one race is OP, but that Zergs might have a little more to learn / change given the severity of their nerf/buff ratio.
HerO > Scarlett Suppy > Revival
Scarlett > Revival HerO > Suppy
Suppy > Scarlett (I'm rooting, not likely but I'm rooting).
I just really want Suppy to win Not to mention my wallet endorsements of EG have gone up recently, so SUPPY!!
But I wouldn't even chance to guess Group D. Polt v Ryung? I'm not even gonna liquibet.
