I mean, I understand they wouldn't of been able to do it in person and on camera, but they still could of done it by setting a time and having people pick. Then interviewing why they picked who they picked.
Disappointed.
^^and I could help you with those if you would like, but either or What would of ended up happening is that the Koreans would all try to get the foreigners, with the exception of maybe scarlett and no foreigners would get through :/ And you think they have better chances with these groups? lol
With so many koreans going through, that is unavoidable. And every korean will be trying to get a foreigner, so it would be interesting.

And I was just looking at this on liquipedia wondering why there wasn't a thread yet.
Group D is definitely the group of death though, all those Koreans, all those Terrans, all that violet.

A total of 2 people from the Americas out of the 16...

Are you surprised? Still, we did have a few solid NA players fall short though (Illusion, Huk, Major, etc.), but the number wasn't going to be much higher than this

Groups are pretty unbalanced o.o'' I think it's difficult to make them more top heavy than they are without putting all of the foreigners into one group.

I would not want to be a protoss in group A or C. It's nice to have only 1 matchup to practice, but at the same time it's going to be tough when the other 2 zergs see your builds. Not to mention the skill level of the zergs they are facing! As far as a group of death it's tough to say, I mean playing in groups with all solid players is one thing, but playing in groups with such a wide variety of styles from all over the world and them having time to prepare can be a gauntlet.

Meh... With Blizzard messing up the region restrictions and MLG messing up the qualifiers, the whole Americas part of WCS is a complete farce.

I didn't even know Scarlett was playing again after that announcement about a 6 month long hiatus.

Pretty sure HerO isn't dwelling over his group at all.

Either way it was going to be a farce. If you only have the Americans (meaning the North and South Americans) playing in a tournament that had the same prizepool as the GSL in Korea, that would have been easy money for players like Scarlett. And that would have been a farce.
At least by bringing in the Koreans, you get a decent level of competition for the tournament, and now winning WCS AM will hold more significance.

y must scarlett and hero face each other >< Those were the 2 players i was rooting for the most too

Compared to the EU groups Group D definitely looks more meatier than the rest whereas EU looks even keel.

yeah because Hero is really worried about the skill level of the zergs in his group XD. he just looks over at violets group, then back at his and sighs in relief.

Group C is easily the group that gets the most attention from me. Seems like a pretty solid/even group.
