Blizz recently dropped a big bombshell on all of these tournament organizers to shoe-horn them into their new WCS system. I can have patience for them if there are some growing pains as they work out the details. I expect future seasons to run smoother. But then I'm an optimist... I'm really liking being able to watch WCS from all 3 regions all week. The only thing that gives me some concern is the whole region-free restrictions where players can play in any region regardless of nationality.

However, as someone who has bought every single season of GSL including GSTL, I'm not unhappy about these problems yet. I can give them a pass. However besides for prize money, how did WCS really screw up the structure of GSL? It didn't, The entire WCS system was derived from the system GSL developed. I really don't see how WCS is to blame for them choosing not to cast Code A. Maybe someone can explain it to me. Code A should have all games cast, just as it was last year and the year before. Btw, i couldn't care less about the EU or AM leagues. I would sacrifice both in an instant to have the all of the code A games cast.

I would sacrifice both in an instant to have the all of the code A games cast. for example that OGN is now also in on broadcasting the Korean WCS, and that they have to schedule with the other WCS regions. Tons of changes for Gom as well. I am not really optimistic, but it is to be expected that the next seasons will run smoother. The question is if they can reach/surpass GSL level with this kind of setup. But that is subjective experience anyhow.
