Ok I'll show off some chinese-ness here and attempt to decipher what this means. The chinese culture always regard soup as a part of dinner where the whole family is usually required to have before the food. In the context of family this usually means the 'soupmaker' is in charge of taking care of the 'soupdrinker'. A parent will usually put in a lot of time to make a pot of soup and make the kids drink it, for example. So its more of a symbol for wanting to take good care of someone. So yeah, thats potentially good wife material there. | ||
