RIP mTw. Or people just dont care about mTw and are happy they finally closed and wont seen again? Hope the players will find a good home but mTw closing is a good news for me
How is a team like mTw closing down a good news to you ? I don't even

Anyone remembers the names cracken, hazz, koj? Haha, those were the times. Who were the other two members of their oldschool cs team, i can't remember. Really sad to see mTw closing, they were one of the very first Pro Teams i knew of (through an old german tv documentary about LAN's).

Very sad moment. Huge esports organisation shutting down. Not big SC history, but they where major force in CS among other titles and its scary that such huge orga shut down. RIP mTw. legendary orga.

D: We knew this was coming, but its still sad. Hopefully AZUBU will be taking their place for German eSports organizations?

The first time I heard about mTw, is when I first heard about Dimaga around october 2011... Since, he has been the only SC2 member on their team and I've always felt like they were dying slowly but surely. Yes, I know they also have other teams, but their 1-man SC2 team said enough about them not willing to invest more (or maybe they weren't able to) into eSports...
Anyway, there's no real point in what I just said, except that I've been expecting them to shut down soon. And it has happened...

sucks, but saw it coming.
RIP

They had A LOT of cheaters in their teams, be it CS:S or whatever. I'm glad MTW shut downs too.

Soooooooooooooo sad, MTW was such a name in the gaming comunnity, i can remember when i was gaming younger and would alwais see these tags appear in wc3 and bw. They never were my favorites in any game, but i alwais remember them being there.
Does anyone know if this was just clan members that got into esports and started a little buisness or their history????

Thanks god! I really hated that team.... SC2 - Dimaga - definition of bad player who mass games. Dota2 - Syndren + some no skillers
Worst players ever!
|
Ok lots of teams have been shutting down lately. Blizzard better get their act together because competitive SC2 is going to die if they don't
|
Sad to see an eSports giant such as mTw close, I will always remember the days of watching their 1.6 teams and DotA teams crush face T_T

hehe dont forget 4Kings (in WC3)

RIP mTw.
I care. But as stated before, their sc2 division was always fairly small. For the longest time it felt like Dimaga was their only player, and then supernova. sc2 wasn't really a major focus for them it seemed so thats why people aren't too upset or really surprised. Sad to see

When I first started playing video games around 2001 there we're two big teams in europe, mtw and sk, now sk has one player and one 2d game team and mtw shut down. I see no one replacing them. Bad news.
|
They invested basically nothing into SC2. Thus, my level of care is about zero, and I'm not surprised to see their little boat sink for the very same reason. Sticking to shitty casual games and not moving on with the times should be punished. Go SC2 or die.
Other than Dimaga and Supernova, the only cool player they ever had was Wizard anyway . . .
User was temp banned for this post.

Sad to see them go. They were around when I was playing Tribes competitively ten years ago.
