Not including key caps, and not mentioning that they are not included seems really shady. The post and mass drop page inclined me to think everything would come together for the $199 price tag. Having the case made out of untreated aluminium sheets screwed together adds another $61. It is a really cool product, but I can see some serious customer backlash regarding the business side of things. Edited for punctuation | ||

You're right, sawing apart a mechanical keyboard will not adversely affect the function of the underlying circuit board. No subsequent PCB design would be required to accomodate this rearrangement, nor firmware programming required to support it. Any keyboard can be made with a jigsaw a drill, and screws. I'd be interested to see your handiwork. | ||
