I don't have the impression that ClouD wanted to leave Germany, so I guess Alternate didn't want to re-sign him. He was doing better lately but that was probably too little too late. He said he wanted to return to Protoss in HotS, maybe he is luckier with it.
In my opinion it's pretty sad to see our game and community taking this direction of crucifying anyone who doesn't meet their standards of being perfectly mannered in both private interactions and public (which is more understandable.) This is what I've always loved about gaming communities, the fact that for the longest period of time it was all about just having fun and not being constrained by political correctness. Suffice to say we now are moving forward into the mainstream and although this has it's perks it also means that personalities and people such as Cloud are going to no longer be able to thrive unless they change which is a change for the worst imo as it makes things much more boring.

Can't believe how many people call ClouD BM. ClouD is probably the most honest and straightforward player in the scene right now, never afraid to say what he thinks. I don't think that's BM, I think that's something we could use a lot more in the scene rather than hiding behind politically acceptable answers. You know what to expect with him which is more than can be said for a ton of people, and to me something to admire. Also, his sense of humor is great.
Hope you'll be able to put everything you've learned in Germany into practice now that you're back in Italy, and best of luck finding a new team Carlo.

They think he's bm just because he said TLO is overrated and he doesen't deserves the recognition/fanbase he have. That's a legitimate opinion. But Cloud also admit that now TLO is good (compared to 6 months ago)... i remember him saying on his stream that "Dario is ok now".

I actually hope ClouD sticks with SC2. I got the feeling that he might quit the game with moving back. I really hope a good team picks him up and that he stays motivated to play the game.

When people say "low gm" they're referring to skill, not literal ladder rank. There are a good enough of top 8 people in GM NA/EU that are pretty terrible. Same in that some top 8 masters are referred to as mid masters.

People who call Cloud bad mannered are full of shit. I don't know how people come up with such bullshit. You may not like his personality because he says what he thinks and that's not always the most clever thing to do but calling him bad mannered is so far off actually.
Also Cloud is a very skilled player and certainly a loss for the german EPS. I hope he can imrpove further and get rid of the things that are holding him back.

I agree guys, ClouD is a bm person, last time we were sharing a hotel room he didnt't allow me to watch MLG LoL cause he wanted to watch SC matches. 
Anyway i feel that right now he's just stuck in another bathroom, what's the matter? He's gonna crush another door and come out stronger

That's a bummer, I really enjoyed watching ClouD in the EPS.
Anyways, I hope he'll be more happy in Italy (the food is definitely better there), and I hope he does not quit sc2.

check your facts. that game you are referring to wasnt even a tournament. it was a random laddergame and i was way before hsc afaik

I think calling him bad mannered is about as accurate as it gets.
I mean he continually insults players, the game itself and of course Blizzard employees on top of it, without ANYTHING to back up his statements. When I hear shit like "David Kim is an idiot and I or anyone would do a much better job" then all that's left to do is rolling my eyes.
There's no reason for me to respect the guy. Just because he is a progamer I do not automatically accept shitty behavior like that.
Well perhaps he'll some day realize that he won't do well with an attitude like that and actually improve on it.

He is a talented play but his mindset is crap. I remember him back before he lost the finals against Nony for the Korea trip. You could say that being direct is good, but he comes out like a huge asshole too many times. He also had some bad racist remarks on this forum.
He is not that young anymore and i expect he will get picked up by a second tier EU team. Anyhow gl cookie monster.
