Just a stupid decision. I know he's young but he should act older than a 14 year old kid. (shrug)

Anyhow sorry if I side-stepped the direct issue at hand a bit, but I think these issues deserved to be mentioned as an aside in relation to this situation here with Stephano. Hopefully people don't begin to draw a negative image of SC2 and/or e-sports from overblown trivial matters like this. Professional gamers need to step up their game in defending the image of gaming, and improving their mannerism to continue to promote/grow e-sports. I think overall a job has been well done, and I am not trying to imply that Stephano failed in this regard in absolute terms. I think poor judgment was demonstrated and it was a foolish error on Stephanos' to post the picture on Twitter. I also think it is unfair to butcher him for a relatively trivial mistake in the grand scheme, but there's no need to overstate it and aim to put a negative perception/connotation to the game that he plays as well. (By overstating, I mean I think the media may have done this but I did not read the article so I cannot be sure. I just assume some of the stuff mentioned in this thread was accurate.) I am thinking people that encounter the article will not assume negatively of Stephano or SC2 overall if/when they do some of their own research on what he and e-sports in a greater sense truly entail. Hopefully the questionable situation can turn into a trigger for spreading the exposure of e-sports by making people curious to examine it (even by a flawed pretense) rather than give it a negative perception by default without further examination (I know I am a bit optimistic. heh.) Please note: I made a few assumptions of what the article contained based on the context ITT, I didn't actually read the article since it wasn't available in English. Figured it was worth mentioning in case the tone of my post was somehow out of line, it seems to be accurate though.

(shrug) lol thats not being a rebel thats just being stupid especially with the terrorism that has happened via planes in the past decade. People are mega sensitive to this kind of thing assuming that airplanes are weapons free of any kind. They won't read his tweet and say "thank god hes showing the air lines that they need to step up their security!". Most people are going to say wtf is someone bragging about having gotten a knife on the plane whether its accidental or on purpose. If its accidental keep it to yourself, no need to tell thousands of people.
