I take it this newspaper is a tabloid
Yes, it is a tabloid, and very shitty one indeed. I'm constantly amazed that people actually read that paper.

Stephano doesn't seem like the brightest person out there... He's good at Starcraft but not very good at the more important game called "life"... and no, money isn't everything in this game called "life"...
|
Well of course, duh... He is flying to South Korea after all. Even if he were to abduct a plane and try crashing it into one of their skyscrapers, he'll realize that Korean SimCity is just too good. But even before that, I expect Airforce Ace to dispatch one of their squads and shoot the plane down. The free falling innocent passengers will then be saved by single microed parachute commandos.
That is, of course, in case Reach doesn't feel like stopping the plane with his bare hands.

Always manage to be in trouble haha
What a fucking ROCKSTAR ! :D

It's a good sign that starcraft is big enough to get in a tabloid. It's a bad sign that starcraft players do things to get into tabloids.

Here's the chrome translation for anyone who's too lazy: + Show Spoiler +The star armed with a knife on the flight - tweeted picture evidence Scandalous Stephano himself tweeted photo evidence
The French e-sport star Ilyes "Stephano" Satouri, 19, knows how to make headlines. The other day he took a knife on board an airplane - and tweeted about it.
Ilyes Satouri is one of Europe's foremost "StarCraft" player, but also one of the most controversial. During last year's DreamHack Summer visited Satouri nightclub Silver in Jönköping where he got so drunk that he had disposed of the police . In October, the Frenchman's club, Evil Geniuses, turning from him for a month since he live joked about having sex with minors .
- I want to sincerely ask all my fans, my teammates, Evil Geniuses and their sponsors to apologize for my comments. They were insensitive, inappropriate and far across the border. The serious consequences they have for me is justified. I take full responsibility for my mistake and I will be more careful in the future, greeted Satouri.
The caution lasted barely three months. The other day left "Stephano" France for a spell in professional Starcraft saved South Korea. On board the plane visited Satouri toilet and took a picture of the knife he had in his hand luggage. The Frenchman posted the picture on Twitter and wrote: "I managed to fly armed with a knife. I did not even try to do it, so I can only imagine how easy it would be for a bad guy to do it. " Tweet has since been deleted, but in a subsequent post clarifies the Frenchman that his intention was never to bring a weapon on board . "I must point out that it was in my hand luggage by mistake, haha."
"No smart move"
Ilyes Satouris prank got Dreamhack CEO, Robert Ohlén, to tweet a message to "Stephano": "No smart move young Padawan, to photograph yourself with a weapon on board an aircraft and post it on Twitter " .
"It shows, Satouri replied," how innocent and harmless I am (and also what an idiot I can be sometimes). " Honestly, it's one of the stupidest things I've ever read. I love how badly they exaggerated - made Stephano sound worse than Osama bin Laden.
tl;dr yellow press bullshit.

Naniwa, Thorzain and SortOf has been featured several times before in this paper, in a very positive manner. I believe they've been on the frontpage aswell. Just wanted to make that clear so people don't think they ONLY bring up bad things about eSports. Having said that, however , their overall quality of journalism is pretty bad.
|
It translates to "Videogame bad-ass carries knife in planes while fucking minors in front of cops" or something like that

Stephano is a Genius...!! More Drama = more popular >> gj Stephano u Little Bastard ...

Can't wait to hear Stephano getting tasered next flight by air marshal. I wonder if more newspapers will write about him. What he did was stupid and i don't see the fun side of this.
Oh well, at least Finnish media isn't the only garbage media out there, it seems.

Stephano is pretty much saving SC2 one hidden knife and pedophile joke at a time.

I used to not like the guy, but the zero-fucks-given attitude has started to grow on me. =P

Didn't even know about the knife thing (meh, whatever, anyway, who really cares about it). But I'm glad to see Stephano/SC2 in major press, even if for such silly reasons.

Aftonbladet is the scum of journalism in sweden, nothing ever written in there is objective and everything is twisted.

Put it in google translate and tweeked it a bit. Apologies for lack of grammar, vocabulary etc.;
