Sadly, we were a little too trusting here. Short answer: We decided to let Ruff go. When we informed of him of that decision, he requested that we do not make a post. We honored that request. It's unfortunate that he made this post without telling us that he was going to frame it as "he leftt." We wish Ruff the best of luck in his future endeavors. Sorry everyone, I should of made it a bit clearer when I posted. Leaves can be seen as removed and I am not trying to frame it as "I left". I am sure you understand that internet is one of the biggest forms of miscommunication out there. This post is simply here to inform people that I am still going to keep going in the StarCraft Community. Not as a form to banter and argue with vVv. To be removed because I am not posting in a forum to satisfy players in lower leagues is not how I want to approach this game. I want to be competetive and practice with known players like back in the day while streaming and doing tournaments. I posted on a good note, I would hope it stays that way. This much I buy. vVv has always had absurdly dumb unrelated requirements of their players. Below is a brief outline of our new expectations. If you think any of these are 'absurdly dumb' or unrelated then I don't know what else to say. + Show Spoiler + You actively engage your fan-base on multiple mediums, including Twitter and Facebook, live streaming, and written and video content
You actively pursue promotion of your organization, sponsors and brand, both in-game and out
You are consistently in communication with your organization and management in terms of team development and brand promotion
You follow a consistent practice schedule (which includes strategy discussion and game play review as well as in-game practice)
At events you represent and support your organization 100% of the time (including networking with other teams, wearing team and sponsored gear, and utilizing social media)
At events you work with staff and management to create promotional media for the organization (including photos, video, interviews, etc)
You know what, that all sounds reasonable if you're compensating someone well (although half of those are so vague that they could include getting in trouble for not posting on the community forums enough - which for a 'pro' player would absolutely be an absurd requirement). Are those players not being compensated also required to abide by these exact rules?

I feel like the team is the one who makes the threads about players leaving first of all, and secondly this is a pretty horrible excuse for indirectly advertising on TL to try to get more followers on your stream and to make money from coaching.

Is vVv that team that that cheater, what was he called... Spades belonged to?

GL Ruff, I've watched the stream a few times, always entertaining. I never saw BM, but maybe it's there. Hopefully you can improve the stream quality--that was the thing that turned me off, but I saw some cool stuff using reapers in the playhems.

Don't know very much about you. But I wish you the best, even though you speak of yourself in third person lol.

vVv lets everybody go, what else is new? Remember when they canned the whole team except for Titan? I have very little respect for this team.
RuFF fighting! Love your strategies. More players should think for themselves.

Yea, fuck this guy, wanting fans and all. He should simultaneously suck at BW, WoL, and HotS like some other players I can think of.

Yeah, Spades has a pretty long history of teams and several smurfs he plays a fair bit on.

I've not heard of you until now, but if you are truely "unothadox", that means you innovate your own builds rather than follow like a mindless sheep, and I hope the best for you. Yes, doing the currently strongest, most stable and optimal builds is 'being a mindless sheep' and not simply using logic. Yea I guess ST_Life has shit logic for using 14 pool in a day and age when 15h was considered optimal. Threads like these just show how much like a highschool TL can be. If you don't like the thread, then don't post. Easy as that, you don't bump the thread with your snide comments and remarks.
I don't watch this guys stream much but I have tuned in periodically just to see what kind of whacky builds he plays. True he hasn't been a top caliber player but he reached a pretty high rank in GM while doing exclusively original builds and tactics. Anyone who is decent at this game should have some appreciation for the difficulty in that instead of trying to act like you're actually better than him (which you arent). GL Ruff

They get their hotel paid for. That's good at least. But yeah for what they require from their players they give the players literally almost nothing while making them do a ton to get exposure. This is why they are irrelevant to the sc2 scene.

I learned along time ago that its no use talking or discussing stuff with people that cant play the game they play. That's why i rarely talk in my games mostly not to get involved in something that just wastes my time. So what im saying is that you should just ignore the people that has no clue what they are talking about.
