Just had this appear in my twitter feed. Via Gamespot UK. http://uk.gamespot.com/news/starcraft-ii-player-snute-to-sign-with-teamliquid-6402085
The 22-year old Zerg player has elected not to re-sign with his current team--Norway-based organization GamersLeague--after being courted by several teams with his impressive year-end performances.
Weird to see potential signings broken by Gamespot, especially as I haven't seen anything mentioned on here about it, although it is mentioned in the free agents thread that Snute's contract is expiring.
EDIT
The author of the article is Slasher (Rod Breslau) I did not realise this when I originally read the article.

what makes you think liquid?
edit * looks at link, oh boy
wow WHAT? hahha ! Good for him if this is true!
I'm not sure if the post above is sarcastic but it says "...to Sign with Teamliquid" in the headlines.
Who knows. Could even be EG Woops, didn't read the linked article; only read the quoted paragraph. I hope an official announcement from Teamliquid comes out soon.
Norwegian StarCraft II player Jens "Snute" Aasgaard is expected to sign with Team Liquid for 2013, executives of several teams have told GameSpot.

Dunno about the reliability of this. But would certainly be awesome if true

Seems so unlikely, but Rod's proven so reliable in the past...Guess we'll see. I really don't care either way, unless Snute plans on playing in proleague.
Well, wonder who leaked it.

Liquid already has three world-class Zergs; a fourth cannot hurt.
Great pickup, Snute is a professional and this should be a profitable engagement for both parties involved. I wonder if this means there's spot on EG-TL in proleague for him?
I wouldn't mind a new non Korean on TL, though he wouldn't be first on my list for a choice I would still be happy.
he appears to represent everything liquid looks for in players, and I believe he's gone to korea once before. Wouldn't be surprised and would be rather happy for him and liquid if this were the case.
I mean EG can't sign EVERYONE
Wish Snute all the best. He is such a hard worker, and all that work is paying off. He rarely whines etc, just focuses on himself and improving. Any team would be lucky to have him, he is sure to improve even more in a real team environment in 2013. I could see him on teamliquid, they always pick up nice guys that can represent them both in and outside the game.

Liquid`Snute sounds pretty good.

Slasher works for Gamespot, and he is a great journalist, which is why you see stories broken by Gamestop sometimes.
it was pretty obvious this was going to happen. I am happy for Snute and hope he will get a really good contract
