He's a pure TvZ sniper with mediocre play, and T8 is probably set up the worst of any team for an all-kill format. I don't think he's going to do well at all. Just because he mainly played Zergs doesn't mean he will only beat Zergs. He's 1-0 against Terran and 0-1 against Protoss, that's a sample size you can extrapolate nothing from. And Team 8 isn't as bad as they're made out to be. Baby is good overall, Speed looks solid to me (maybe not to you), Jaehoon wins some and loses some but is at least somewhat decent, Terminator is a good PvZ sniper, I think, and there are worse Zergs than Ryul2. I actually thought about picking them and gambling on them beating Khan and doing decently well against CJ.

Main Team 2 ![]() 9 ![]() 3 ![]() 3 ![]() 1 ![]() 8 ![]() 4 [tlpd#teams##sc2-korean]SK Telecom T1[/tlpd] Anti Team 2 ![]() 6 ![]() 5 ![]() One thing that irks me about the captain system is there's no upside - for my team, I'd prefer to have fantasy or shy as my captain, but I might actually want to trade those players, whereas mini will never be good enough to trade for anyone decent, so I can have him captained safely. I feel like if captains scored double or something (as they do in other fantasy games I've played) then there would be a bit of risk/reward. Overall principles - get guys who are going to be sent out. No longer are teams sending out 6 players (7 counting ace). Now it's just 4 players each match who will be up there. My team: Classic - solid pedigree, bad record last round, but I think he might be able to pull it out, plus cheap. Fantasy is a confirmed starter against JYP, and he's an excellent player. I'd back him for that match and could well go on for a big result. Might get traded for Taeja after round 1 (EGTL have SKT1 and KT in R1, so not keen on their chances) Hydra had a solid season and gets sent out a LOT. He's up against terminator first round, which is winnable, and then T8's soft underbelly could be exposed. Light - If he gets sent out, he's my hot pick for most undervalued player. 2-0 last round, their captain, great pedigree - could be this round's Wooki. Plus, he's sent out first round, so that's a good sign (and if he beats stork, soft underbelly of Khan beckons) Mini - a bit trash, but he had a not terrible record last round (1-2), which means he's sent out a bit and knows what it's like to win on TV. Pretty solid for 1 point. sOs - was a bit of a boss last round, and stars are playing Khan and CJ. Can also possibly trade for some of those juicy 6-7 pointers. Anti-team Idra won't play Jangbi is a bit of a risk.. but he isn't first up in the first round, and didn't have a stellar record. JYP is a) not that good, b) going to struggle to be sent out ahead of EGTL's top heavy lineup and c) up against Fantasy and the other match is against KT Rolster. I can trade him out after R1 if needed.

I wanted a more rounded team and opted for Speed/Bbyong/Jaehoon instead of trying to add in another high value player like Flash though. GL! GLGL. I hold an unbreakable rule to get Flash as my captain. It was actually Taeja who I decided to throw in for the occasion! I do like your well-rounded team though.

You could pick a 1 from your favorite team and a 3 that you think will perform well.

Surprisingly I did much better in Round 1, but that's probably because I had majority KT players and KT as my team reeling in the points for me. I still wanted Flash as my team captain because I feel like he will always produce some good results and get maybe a multi-kill here and there. Bbyong is a solid Terran so he shouldn't be too bad right? Bisu.. It was a choice between him or Best and I wasn't too sure so I just went ahead with Bisu. Hydra seems like a solid Zerg, but I don't know if I should go with him or Revival. Light, you guys all say is going to be a boss so follow the crowd right? ![]() Thorzain cause you know I needed a 2 pointer and he could potentially grab some multi-kills. And ya know KT I hope can rock this Round and get me all the juicy points. My anti-team was just who didn't do as well in Round 1 so it's a total shot in the dark there.

What do you think? Poll: Stork or JYP anti team? Stork (13) JYP (2) 15 total votes Your vote: Stork or JYP anti team? On the one hand, my gut says JYP. Both JYP and Stork are starting in one game in the first week. JYP is up against Fantasy where he'll probably lose, and Stork is against Light which could go either way. BUT, I expect EGTL to do better than Khan this time FOR SURE, and I expect JYP will be played as a PvP or PvZ sniper depending on the matchup, and his best matchups seem to be better than Stork's best matchups. So in the long run, I think Stork on the Anti team will work better than JYP unless Stork just goes ape shit on Woojin Stars, despite the fact that in week one, JYP will most likely lose to Fantasy so he'd be a pretty good bet for Anti team... Maybe I should start with JYP then trade to Stork... But I'm not sure if I'll be able to do that.

That's why I went with Speed and BeSt to pick up the pace early so I can trade up if need be before next week. JYP is playing where I saw him playing at. Just above 50%. Any player who is capable of playing at that rate is a vet and you should tread carefully. That's why I think Stork on your anti-team might be more advisable. JYP and Stork will be sent out a lot though and you know how January loves her Protoss line so it's playing with fire and you really have to hope Stork doesn't get hot. Compared to Jangbi I'd say Stork is a safer bet on your anti.

That's news to me. Tal'darim, okay. I get that. Antiga? Not sure if they always assumed a Zerg would be sent out there.

Like I said, JYP failing is only a gut instinct, but everything else in me says that if I have to pick a five pointer to not do well, it's Stork.
