An Alliance between EG and Liquid to beat up Korean teams? It must be Christmas and Eastern on one day :D

So who's gonna be fielded by EG?

I have to admit I have mixed feeling about this. I think Liquid has the much better roster out of the 2 teams and Liquid will rather carry EG through proleague.

Also the Logo I really really kinda hate. It looks like EG is the better team, and EG is above Liquid, which isn't really cool. change it around and have liquid above Eg and it would look a lot better.

but in saying that I will have to go myself and see the matches at Yongsan, it'll be intresting how they do.

Who do they have that they can send out for certain?

HerO? check

TaejA? check

Sheth? Possibly?

We know he can beat Koreans from time to time, but I much rather send out Stephano as my Zerg.

I don't have much faith in Zenio and honestly never really did. He was their first Korean brought into the mix and two for three isn't bad.

TLO.. I'd put HuK, Suppy, or IdrA in before him on the depth chart but who knows what crazy antics he might pull off.

Other than that who does Liquid have?

Liquid is all about their 1-2 combo with little support sometimes.

This is why it makes sense for EG to bring TL into the mix because TL does have that strong 1-2 punch that isn't Zerg and then Eg fills the holes with their depth.

It's actually a pretty solid line-up. Before I was saying EG really needed at least 2 more strong Koreans to actually compete. Well now they have HerO and TaeJa to help carry.

While I don't disagree that Eg does bring more depth, its rather like Oz and how their team worked out. Since Eg does provide some depth, their Korean players aren't at a very high level. I mean you do have stephano, but basically he is the only good player EG can really bring to the table.

Huk hasn't been good for about a year now, JyP and Puma are just coasting on their skill level from last year. Idra won't really bring anything to the table as well.

Liquid has HerO and Taeja, which are both top 10 in their respective races. Sea is a upcoming Terran and one of the better players that switched recently. I would consider him top 15 out of the kespa players.

Zenio is a solid player, not the greatest, but someone who can be a really good sniper and take out some good players in a TvZ or ZvZ.

thats my prospective anyways.

HuK got a top 16 finish at IPL5 and only lost to Life and Sniper... You know, the two most recent GSL Champions... Not impressive at all considering how weak the player list was at that tournament.

Good. They'll take ACE's place at the bottom of the ranking.

Whaaat? Robin Hood teaming up with the Sheriff of Nottingham doesn't sound right.
Anyway, good luck Liquid Geniuses! Or Evil Liquid? Nah, that sounds like a trashy horror movie.

So who do you think will be the two additional playlers? An ex slayers player, jaedong?

inspect element more or less confirms demuslim. it's possible to be ByuL for the second player since Gom posted that picture of EGByuLRC and then changed it during the next broadcast amidst all the speculation

All three EG's Terrans are better than Sea, and probably better than Liquid's players after Hero and Taeja. Idra and Stephano obv are good.
Jyp as well.

Taeja, Hero, Stephano, Thorzain, Puma, JYP, Idra/Demu/HuK/Zenio should be the core. EG brings a lot to the table, though TL has the strongest and third strongest.

This was pretty important for pro league as it does make the tournament at least somewhat relevant again.

This is Game
If someone who actually speaks Korean wants to take look.
Google translate seems to have a pretty good handle on this compared to the usual, but take this with a grain of salt
Unlike last season, Starcraft 2 completely been converted , the size of the prize money for the regular season 3 billion, more than two -fold compared to last season also increased . regular season, seven former Zen monk approach was adopted . 7 sets 1-6 sets of entries each week (usually on Wednesdays) , and notice is the way of the professional league, Ace Finals post-season and finals approach is the same as last season .

3,000,000,000 Won = $2,700,000 USD. So yah
It looks like EG-Liquid vs KT is this seasons opening match

Whether you're talking about IdrA vs. HuK from late 2010 to mid-2011, PuMa vs. HerO in late 2011,...

... and then I thought "Taeja vs..." *bam* XD
