Because a fucking foreign team with lots of great players will be playing in the best and most memorable team league ever. Whoever followed Broodwar, knows how excellent it is. I don't understand how you cannot get excited about this.

Though GSTL definitely has the skill. I'm personally still waiting for the one big team league, but I don't feel it will happen soon.

Since Eg does provide some depth, their Korean players aren't at a very high level. I mean you do have stephano, but basically he is the only good player EG can really bring to the table. Huk hasn't been good for about a year now, JyP and Puma are just coasting on their skill level from last year. Idra won't really bring anything to the table as well. Liquid has HerO and Taeja, which are both top 10 in their respective races. Sea is a upcoming Terran and one of the better players that switched recently. I would consider him top 15 out of the kespa players. Zenio is a solid player, not the greatest, but someone who can be a really good sniper and take out some good players in a TvZ or ZvZ. thats my prospective anyways. JYP very recently was in the RO16 in the GSL getting there almost purely through JYPvT, and was very valuable to SlayerS when they made it to the GSTL playoffs. Huk has steadily been improving, tying for the highest ranking foreigner at IPL5(only his PvZ is really lacking, but I mean, its PvZ). Puma recently had a minor surgery, but admittedly was slumping prior to that. Idra recently has made leaps and bounds in his play. Thorzain when he is on is one of the stronger terrans you can have, and although he has his ups and downs, Korea seems to bring out the best in him. You don't win proleague based on having the best player in the world, its not an all kill format. You need a good depth chart.

I'm more interested to see how long it takes to understand the dual dynamic and build a strong team as opposed to individuals in the league. Looking forward to seeing some of the 'lesser' Liquid and EG players get a shot. It feels like ages since I've seen Zenio for example, though that is in part because of his poor results =S

On another note I also forgot to mention Sea and Jos. lol Then again Jos did get suspended this weekend but he'll be good to go. EG does provide a lot of back-up support and they can give you several different looks which is always good for the PL format. I think this is the best thing EG could have asked for in going ahead on entering the PL fray. Like I said earlier, they needed at least two really solid Koreans and they got that in cute toss and tae tae. Sea should be well on his way now too.

Proleague has always been exclusively kespa teams EG + TL are rivals People want to see more foreigners train + compete in korea The kespa teams have always been viewed as untouchable by foreigners in BW Kespa didn't care about the foreign scene What's not to get?
