C.Head, BoxeR referred MMA as one, not that MMA have association with them. Just thought that I need to clear this up.

Did they have oversized pants barely held in place by their belts, gold necklaces, basketball jerseys and chain wallets too?

The conversation, despite not being perfectly translated, only made things a bit clearer regarding the state of the team at the time. No one knew exactly what the hell was happening and people were blaming each other, including Jessica who's a pitbull when it comes to arguments. They all should have just sat on a table and talked like BoxeR repeatedly tried to say.

For a bit, everyone is to be blamed to a extend. However the players are more to be blamed for the outcome of the team's fate. To sum up:
Jessica + BoxeR treated the players greatly.
Got MMA, ALICIA, and CranK to be superstars with great benefit, much better than other teams in Korea.

The players seen the big money from the foreigners, started complaining. (Players' fault +1)

(Series of events happening: Coach Won incident being told by Cella, Manager J, ESF's ban and etc.)

Jessica and BoxeR tried to remedied the situation with BoxeR asking for a reconciliation meeting.

This is where Jessica and BoxeR came to be faulted for not proceeding with the initial agreement, however so should the players try to schedule the meeting (+1 for both).

Alicia got caught lying.

CranK went under Jessica's nose in search for a team.

Apparently MMA was like a virus influence the players.

Team lost sponsors, people went to LoL, got dissolved.

And now Jessica is fighting against the player's words with hardcore evidence.

And somehow TL is siding with the players.

And the team have made the players popular by recruiting them. Who knows where they would be w/o the guidance of BoxeR. Perhaps, players should show more humility toward their mentor that bestowed them the fame and glory in the first place. They should know this especially coming from an Asian background.

The played entailed have so far demonstrated none of that.

I think the bigger reason that people on TL are siding with the players are that Jessica makes it sound like that she was not to be blamed at all. If she makes a less flaming statement, put some small blame on herself, people will feel more sympathetic. On the other hand, if she had that kind of tact, the team might not have disbanded to begin with.

Edit: Oh ya, and recording the phone call makes her lose even more sympathy points.

That´s what is in the first thread and first statement of Jessica. I will never understand why she throws shit at everyone (justified or not) but saying that she didn´t want to sue J because "didn´t want to disturb young players". Everything she does now is the complete opposite and if anyone is actually to blame for all of this it´s seemingly manager J.

- More shocking thing was that no players told me about this. I was going to formally sue the manager but I couldn't because I didn't want to disturb young players with a court case. If I had never found about this.. then players would have left the team without knowing.. That's when I lost my faith in MMA

The transcript of the phonecall is imo really disgusting if looking at Jessica, she knows it´s recorded and baiting Crank into full emotional mode including crying.
Drama always appeared around her, but even acknowledging that others did something wrong, what she did is straight up disgusting in my eyes.

I really hope everyone just stays quite the next round and let this hole mess die, nobody will look good at the end of the day.

This would actually make a pretty good K-drama. No,seriously. I think I'd watch at least like a season of it. Cuz the first season would be really good and the "deeper secrets" would be revealed in the season finale and it would be totally epic.

And after season 1's huge success, season 2 would really spice shit up. Possible storylines: Jessica's affair with MMA, Boxer's secret bastard child, Crank needs his salary to feed his coke addiction. Ganzi is in love with Crank. Jessica is pregnant with Crank's child. Crank OD's, goes to hospital. Boxer and Jessica are actually siblings, seperated at birth. Huge drama.

Seriously, at the pace shit is happening, it's going to be there pretty soon.
You mean I just write stuff here and other people can see it?

FOUR people dont make the whole team. maybe you should learn to count.

Plus the 3 who sneaks out to play LoL.

Can't blame anyone for that.

Except the management that let contracted players sneak out to play other games when they supposed to practice.

What is management supposed to do? Chain them and put a camera in the house to watch their every move?
If people already go crazy when she records a phonecall imagine the outcries then.
If the players lost their will they won't play good anymore anyway so its a waste of time.

Sure you can. Talk to the players in question and discuss solutions. If they really want to go and play LoL then officially release them from team. If they avoid talking and continue to demoralize the team atmosphere or morale, terminate the contract without compensation to the player because of the breach of contract to set an example. Also reward players who practice diligently when the morale is low to improve their feeling.

The thing as far I am concerned on this subject, they (the management staff, BoxeR and Jessica) were not aware of them sneaking off to play LoL. They have only released the statement after the team have dispersed. So as far as the logic goes, nothing could have prevented them.

Well are you going to say that the manager of the team not knowing that their players sneak out to play other game is a good management?

I didn't know that you are encouraging teams to be more slavery oriented with 100% supervision at all time, shame on you. Jessica didn't go after them for sneaking out to play LoL, do you really want her to chase them too? She already exposed MMA, CranK, and ALICIA's misbehaviours at complete public humiliation and effectively terminating their future opportunities in Korea. You want someone who narrowly escaped death to be put up on the jury again. Cut them some slack.

Wait did I said I encourage teams to be more slave oriented? Lol no. Managing players in a team like slaves is a sign of bad management and not understanding performance management at all. However, not knowing what your employees are doing in at all is also a bad management because it shows that manager does not involve with the team in an acceptable degree. There are a lot of ways to check what your players/employees are doing during the work time such as weekly performance meeting, daily coach report, etc. You can just go and read textbooks about this - - . How the hell do you think normal corporate or sport team can check whether their employees or players are working as they suppose to or not?

I don't really know how much experience you have in the field but from your (and some others') posts show that you guy sometimes lack it.

Also I am not trying to drag those players back and humiliate them. I just want to point out the bad part on management side that some people try hard to ignore.

Ive seen so many korean pros play

LOL. MC, Sc, Genius, Life etc..

do i need to go on?

Let me ask you this, were they sneaking out or they discussed with their team that playing LoL is a good way to relax from time to time as long as it does not affect team's morale or performance. There is a massive difference here. If it is the first one, then that player is doing a bad job that if I am a manager I would warn them. If it is the latter then it is already in an official agreement so there is no problem.

So did the players though. Check out MMA's inteview, he was putting everything to be blamed on Jessica and BoxeR. Again J and B decided to sit down to sort everything out, at that point it is both parties' fault for having no respect with each other. But note that J and B have been much more gracious toward them from the get go, so the ball is up on their court to make a move. Most importantly, you shouldn't have lied to your management staff that you want to take a leave just to look for a team, that's just a low move. Overall speaking, Crank have committed far more detestable act than Jessica's simple defensive stance.

Beside apparently CranK don't even have contract with the team, they are giving him free basic life supplies in exchange of having a measly 54% win rate. That's really generous on their part and they are not really entitled to give him special treatment due to the fact.

Not sure what Axiom saw in him but personally if a player have the balls to be dishonest about his motives, recruiting him is just asking for trouble.

I think boxer is as much to blame for this mess as jessica due to his inaction. He took the bury your head in the sand approach and thought everything was great. He'd stop playing Troy to come out and look around for 5 mins and go, well no problems here, crank is nuts. Through boxer's inaction, he's just as culpable for this mess as the others. Crank was the only one trying to change things and at least he took action, but his call for change just fell on deaf ears.

I actually have even more respect for Crank for standing up for what was wrong here. It took a lot of courage for him to do that and I commend him for it.

I agree that Boxer is culpable and I just can't believe the things he and Jessica said about MMA and their players.

What do you expect, it's BoxeR, people are going to follow his stance (or Jessica's rendition of his stance at any rate) no matter what. Apparently, he can do no wrong whatsoever.
In fact, the reason why Jessica had such support in the beginning stages of the drama was in part because she seemed to be speaking on behalf of BoxeR as well as herself.

No one is absolutely right. Players did a lot of things wrong too. But when an organization topple down, westerner seems to place responsibility more on the leader of said organization, therefore most people here criticize Jessica more often and harshly. But that doesn't mean players were right or blameless either.

I honestly dont understand why Crank even lied.
Every* player who asked Jessica if he could leave SlayerS was allowed to leave - even when going to another team. Ganzi, Taeja, Golden, Sleep, the 3 LoL guys. Even Crank was allowed to leave without ANY problem.

Only when Jessica learned that Crank lied about the reason he left, was when the shitstorm started. I therefor cannot understand what went through Crank's head when he thought "I lying is a great idea!".

* MMA is the exception. With him under contract Jessica thought she could get a transfer fee for him, only to realize that she couldnt get one (so high). She then offered to let him leave without a fee.

Waxangel,

Could you possibly please copy and paste both translated replies of Jessica to MMA and CranK to the original post?

I'm seeing a lot of posters here who have not clicked Jessica's reply link and only read whatever's copy/pasted in the OP and base their opinion off of that.

EDIT: I'm talking about these two links:
