Complaining about how the team is run, wanting more, wanting to go to a team that paid better -- those aren't things that really get you in trouble in US/Europe. We're kind of used to high-pressure athletes occasionally acting out like primadonnas too. And then mostly forgiving them afterward. Other than disrespecting Boxer/Jessica, I'm not seeing much to the accusations here. Maybe MMA not paying Ryu if he was his personal coach? That seems more about the two of them than Slayers, then. Not sure how J shows up and costs them all their sponsors either, but that kind of event can't be anybody's fault but management unless Crank/MMA were actively dissuading sponsors. I haven't seen any accusation of that. I probably don't understand Korean culture enough to really get the drama here, but I'm ready to go watch Ax.Crank and EG.MMA start just playing SC2 again. I agree none of this makes sense to me either. Just because there were some players who hated Jessica why does the team disband? And what's wrong with being angry with your boss and arguing? I think Jessica made the biggest mistake by starting the drama. If they had to disband (which I don't see why they had to) why make a big shitstorm?

CranK took responsibility to drive all the players to their matches not boxer and not jessica. Every statement except hers had said that.. Go back to your korean drama career and stay way the fuck away from esports. As disappointed as some people in here to hear absolutely nothing from Boxer. Man up and be a god damn adult and make a statement like your former players have. Shows that they give a shit. Instead of hiding in the background of your new team. Sad how korean society is when it comes to dealing with problems. In NA we confront and deal with this stuff and not run away and hide. Man up and play 5 man dota instead of hiding behind your GF ffs.

Disadvantage the employment you are with 4. Do this while under employment / contract. Being a bad manager or making mistakes has consequences, but it isn't illegal. Jessica / Boxer literally had a sole proprietorship after they lost sponsors so they weren't responsible to other financial parties. Nothing about what Jessica did was illegal. What these players did are actually illegal actions. All that is expected. Employees lie all the time to there boss and you would be stupid as an employee not to look for another job that pays more. All this is perfectly normal in any organisation. A good boss however create an atmosphere for his employees so these things don't happens. For me its seems like a complete lack of leadership and a meltdown in the organisation. And there is only one to blame and that's the manager

She actually says that they've spent "in scale of 100 millions" [Korean WON. And yes 100 million won is roughly 90k] and then later "in scale of several 100 millions" rather then "about 100 million". So, "they spent about 90k" is not exactly very accurate in this case.

(a few) * 90k as in... it could be 3*90k = or 4 or 5 임 : 너 팀에 들어온 지 1년 됐나? 난 팀에 있으면서 몇 억을 썼는지 모르겠다. 넌 그대로지만 난 몇 걸음 뒤로 퇴보했어. 네 임장도 이해하겠는데 너무 몰아붙이지 마라. Boxer: Has it been 1 year since you joined the team? I dunno if I used (unknown #)*90k USD. You are still the same, but I'm set back a few steps. I understand your situation but don't push it too hard. TLDR - He lost a lotta money

Hard to believe they went over 450k, 200k I could definitely see though with flights etc... Sure, I'll keep my mouth shut. For the record, I based it on someone who did the math very early in the Slayers to disband thread. It was somewhere around 550-650k.

Plenty of real companies that has been convicted for negligence for this exact kind of things. And void the responsibility from the individuals who committed the illegal action? Come on, you are supposed to press court action against the employees first before even doing that. The responsibility would actually be from w/e association MMA / Alicia / Crank came from, since SlayerS had no ability to screen that how are they supposed to be hold responsible.

Jessica can't be trusted at this point. Opinions are polarized between Jessica and the players. The least biased person right now would be Boxer.

You don't do things that are in direct conflict of interest of your employer, it's covered by any code of ethics in any profession. If Crank was an engineer and pulled this shit you bet your ass he's going to get sued.

Name a korea team that does that. Oh by the way Cella cant drive, former coach Ryu didnt have a license. And most importantly it was Cranks own volition to drive the car.

True, but that is when athletes has regular salary that can make sure he would pay the coach. I doubt MMA could really personally hire coach Ryu with his regular salary (if there is any), so I would say there is more into this matter. But it was just so amateurish for me for a team not to hire a coach for your "best" player and make sure he does not have to worry about paying him. It just reeked that Jessica doesn't understand how to manage the team.
