They weren't as good as they were back in their haydays. But they did have Puzzle. They reached another GSTL finals. And they are still undefeated in MCSL.

Remember when people wanted more drama in sc2?

This is something I would take with a chunk of rock salt the size of a bowling ball. From the quality of interaction Jessica shows in the things she says, it's entirely possible this is not something they told her they were doing. It may be an assumption on the basis that they went to PC Bangs to play LoL.
It could be true, but that would also require me to question that Puzzle is in fact not as troubled by injury as was claimed when he pulled out of playing tournaments.
Who knows? Maybe they are, maybe they aren't. I'll believe that particular piece of information when I see something directly from Coca, Puzzle, or Min.

the source of almost everything here lies with jessica. so regardless of facts, the overall re-occuring pattern here is something wrong with jessica. almost anything that went bad, jessica had a hand in it. and what does she do? she blames everyone else.
her sponsorship manager doesn't add up AT ALL. why would he intentionally want to ruin, literally, his own money? and his own job? him cutting off ties purposefully would then make him lose his job....
there's a reason why there are re-occuring players wanting to leave. it's rarely the atmosphere with the players, but actually the coaches themselves and as we see, jessica is the root cause of it. even before this, there was drama WITH HER and HER ALONE. anyone recall the incident where she tried to sue a person over twitter for a different opinion? if anyone cannot see how she is the source of trouble and drama, you need to open your eyes because this incident was an example of how her actions will inevitably be the same for everything else.
I agree that Jessica must take responsibility. But at the same time, Manager J story makes sense in that he purposely screws over the players' sponsorship to turn against Jessica/management.

If you don't believe in something, why are you going to join them, especially when they are so quick to turn against you without hearing both sides? Twisting what? this is one side of the story (hers) which you can clearly see a lack of leadership on her part. She is basically saying everyone was out to get her and she had no idea why this was happening, which is poor leadership at its core. Also ripping all your players right when they are going to be looking for jobs is really bad form... She's not discrete and doesn't brush things aside, if there is a problem she will fucking manhandle it until it's resolved. Whether that resolution is good or bad is another matter. If you're on her bad side it sucks, but if she is fighting for you I would rest comfortably knowing that she will be getting results on my behalf.

I'm sorry I stooped to your level, I should have ignored the obvious baiting from your snide comments.
If you want examples of good leadership, maybe don't look for it in a press release about why the team failed? Instead maybe look at their successes. Just a hint.

Nothing against LoL, but I really wanted to see more CoCa (in particular) and Puzzle in SC2 D:

Most of those are far from minor issues. The sad thing is that such drama occurs at all, not that it gets talked about.

Take some accountability for your actions..... You are doing some real mental gymnastics to somehow make this Jessica's fault We don't know nearly enough about this to make a decision either way. But I think it would be foolish to believe Jessica is innocent whle everyone around her is out to get her. So far, Jessica is saying that everyone is awful, players are rebelling and she doesn't understand why. At the very least it's indicative of massive communication problems and at worst, Jessica has her own part in turning everyone against her. This is especially interesting considering Jessica's harsh personality on view during her multiple public outbursts. I'd wait for a second and third opinion as this whole post looks very one-sided.
Understanding how Asian culture works, it is very probable that the majority of people dissuade others into believing a singularity is a problem rather than themselves. As a simple example of this, just think of Naniwa when he went to his first pro gamer house. He went and only practiced. He wanted to get as good as he possibly could. This pushed him further away from the very important socially dependent culture Korea has. Thus, when certain times were assigned to go out, Naniwa wasn't even told about them. He literally would be at the house all alone because of no communication, yet to everyone else, it seems as if it was Naniwa's fault for being bad mannered. His intentions were spot on, but culturally he just got shafted hard. (Note: I'm not saying this is "good" or "bad", just that it's how the majority of socially acceptable normalities are dictated in Asian areas.)
Because of this, I could very easily see Jessica being completely truthful yet still being unaccounted. The only basis they seem to have against her is that she simply would not cooperate with others outside of slayers because she thought it would be detrimental. Saying others are a detriment to your team could in turn cause issues.
With that said, it could be very possible that not everything is "exactly" as it happened as there is obviously underlying bias written in here that will be weeded out. But in contrast to what some may be saying, I think I'll side with Jessica for the majority of the points. For her to be able to professionally withhold this much of the information that came out in this post instead of slandering players, as the community makes her out to do, I can only have respect for her holding it in until now. Will there be some mucky things that may be released as rebuttals against her that have some weight? I assume so, but in the end I think she seems to have done the best she possibly could have with what she was given and yet it all still fell apart. Quite sad for me as I always held SlayerS up to being the ideal team. A top competitor, a legend creator, yet, a family.

I, sir, am interested in your opinions. Because, from a strictly business management viewpoint, I have to note there appear to be holes in her management style. Leadership is not about dictating on the basis of contract legalities or because you are the manager. (I know, many people in actual management positions fail to grasp this as well.) Based on Jessica's own statements, she seems to lack a comprehensive and unemotionally burdened conflict resolution process - perhaps because of her deep emotional involvement and conviction of looking out for a player's best interests.
But I am interested in your opinion on Jessica as a leadership figure.
