Slayers is not a team that lasted all that long
Also it doesnt look like taeja or ganzi have problems with the team

This is the worst news yet in sc2 esports history. Not just that one of the most popular esports team disbanded, but also that even more starcraft pros are making the switch to LoL.
|
is it just me or is every non player over in korea a scumbag.
|
Also it's sad to see so many progamers switching to LoL makes you wonder if Destiny is right

this is going to be a field day for teams wanting/needing players.
MMA on the market, genius, ryung, etc....

None of us really know what happened, but I have to say I don't really agree with Jessica's way of handling these things and publicizing all of the disputes. I don't think it really helps matters at all. If they have to disband at least let it happen with dignity not with all this he said/she said drama.

Interesting how foreigners in this thread are shitting on Jessica, while Koreans back her up. Way to generalize And did you go through every post inthe past 55 pages to make sure ALL the foreigners are shitting on Jessica and ALL the koreans are backing her up? I'm Korean, and I think there's a fair amount of dramatization and bad management going on. Im a foreigner and I'm mostly siding with jessica even if she is emotional about the issue (which is kind of to be expected considering how much she and boxer gave to the team).
Honestly I don't know why anyone would believe Jessica/boxer would embezzle funds..... they already have enough money not to mention each one of them can make easily considering their fame.

sad to read this article. Jessica and BoXer pouring everything they had into the team and get spit on by players who are young and stupid complaining about trivial things.

I don't know about Ganzi, but Taeja never was in the Slayers house to live there. He stayed at home. Makes a big difference.

Even if she did embezzle and was confident that there's no evidence, still, what's the point in coming out and drawing everyone's attention?

She seems to have problems with ESF and J. Everything else stems from those two issues.
Also, doubting Jessica is akin to doubting Boxer. Considering your join date on TL you might not know how much Boxer has done for creating the e-sports scene in Korea. You may also not know how much of his personal money he's sacrificed in order to see the scene grow.

If she gets a reputation for shady business she will not be able to get roles anymore....
Also dont forget that she is heiress to a big construction firm in korea

Read the article properly dude.
This isn't drawing attention(well it kinda is) At least now the truth will be out and be done with it. Rather than burying the truth. It is better this way.
Jessica got like no reason to embezzle the money. Considering how much money she poured into SlayerS, i got no idea why would she double-crossed them. Doesn't make any sense if you think about it. She is also a successful actress in Korea and also comes from a really wealthy family. So her embezzling the money seems crazy.

I like Boxer and how much effort he put into the team, but I think Jessica was never cut out to run or manage a team. The fact that their press release contains in itemized list of every minor peice of drama the team was involved really shows that she does not really know how to manage PR.
And to those saying that Jessica and Boxer cared about their players, I don't think anyone is going to stay they didn't. However, caring and passion does not make you a good manager or coach. You can love something with all your heart and be terrible at it. Yep, that's how I feel about Jessica too. Notice how most players are hostile (if that) towards Jessica a lot more than Boxer. There's gotta be a reason be hind that.

Meh, if you read my post carefully you'll note I omitted words such as "all" or "most", thus implying only an amount of people doing things. I mean, you accuse me specifically of what I avoided doing. *shrugs* But feel free to get angry over a throw-away comment. Besides, when I say shitting on Jessica, I mean specifically insults based on her gender, and total defamations of her character, not people saying she has a tendency to overdramatize things (Which I myself stated much earlier in this thread).
EDIT: In fairness, the Korean part of my post was somewhat silly, and I could've been more specific with my language, but my statement was based on post from earlier in this thread (Which I did read in it's entirety, I've been refreshing since the first page waiting for additional translations.), so I do think it's a fair statement, although a wrongly worded one. A few people with a location in for example USA or Canda have been making nasty comments, while a couple of people with a Korea (South) location stated their support.
