There were prolific examples of people saying terrible things to be funny, not a claim that stephano should be viewed as a comedian in the same capacity as these gentlemen I've listed. And my friends only did that after I started because it's how I like to deal with it. I think terrible things are hysterical most of the time. If we want eSports to grow out of this phase, we need to start acting a little more serious in public. We've seen over the last few weeks a bunch of executives/team owners etc talking about how hard it is to get sponsors in this space. It doesn't matter if it is a joke or not, you just can't say stuff like that when you are representing someone else. I know it was meant to be private, but when streaming is so common place, and when this sort of thing has happened before, players just have to be smarter.

If you want E-Sports to ever reach the status of other Sporting Associations, then you should accept that notable players should be vastly punished for posting such inappropriate/vulgar comments. If we choose to allow such comments, then we as an industry will never be taken seriously.
