Me too. That particular joke wasn't even that bad by my standards. Penis and balls in face jokes are commonplace for my buddies and I. If someone made a transcript, people would think it was the dialog of a gay orgy. Just recently I had a 20 minutes discussion with a friend of mine, I won't bother with the details but we were laughing like idiots the whole time and we were just spewing the stupidest things - even if we had been 16, we would come off as immature. And we're both academics - not medical doctors mind you, but we're not idiots.
That's besides the point though. Just be sure your boss won't hear, because then it's understandable that there would be a punishment!

"Basically did admit it" doesn't cut it when you want to accuse someone of admitting to (or joking about admitting to) sexual relations with a minor.

Just recently I had a 20 minutes discussion with a friend of mine, I won't bother with the details but we were laughing like idiots the whole time and we were just spewing the stupidest things - even if we had been 16, we would come off as immature. And we're both academics - not medical doctors mind you, but we're not idiots. That's besides the point though. Just be sure your boss won't hear, because then it's understandable that there would be a punishment! yeah that's what normal men do i'm an engineer btw but i've lived in the same dorm as med students My friend's an engineer too. You people are the worst ;D

the dorm of mechanical engineers was one of the most fucked up places i've ever seen... there was a fight every week and everyone was constantly drunk when there were no exams or homework... and these guys are all managers/engineers now.

There is his statement and several contextual clues, plus the fact that he hasn't been arrested, to indicate that he was joking. You're condemning him with no fucking evidence at all.
