As far as I know, there's no rule against making an account name that isn't your own. Nobody can tell Kiwikaki he can't play on an account named AtheneWins. However, when it goes to using an entire identity that isn't your own across multiple platforms, then it becomes a little more serious.

That particular ToS is..... not useful in theory and impossible to enforce in practice, with the complication of tournament accounts, team house and all that good stuff.

Nobody can tell Kiwikaki he can't play on an account named AtheneWins. However, when it goes to using an entire identity that isn't your own across multiple platforms, then it becomes a little more serious. athene owned the account, sharing accounts is against the TOS unless you are a minor then your parent can be the account owner. Steal is wrong, murder is wrong, but they don't comes with same punishment with good reason. That particular ToS is..... not useful in theory and impossible to enforce in practice, with the complication of tournament accounts, team house and all that good stuff.

Kiwikaki never played in tournaments. I'd assume the community would be harsher on this person even if she hadnt won money doing this but it is still a big difference.. not sure why people bother doing this sort of thing.. silly..

Never expected this, she was once a good friend of mine too until fame stole her and she didn't really -talk- to me or many other people anymore. She did inspire me to start my own stream and take my SC2 seriously (Even if I am only a gold ladder female player) it's still fun more than it can be frustrating. How could you Vera?
