Get well soon Puzzle, such a solid playstyle and a player who really would have torn up foreign tournaments if he played more of them. Hopefully he still can!

Don't be surprised when you see him in another team uniform soon. -_- On September 21 2012 14:20 BathTubNZ wrote: Show nested quote + On September 21 2012 13:17 freeshooter wrote: Don't understand why Fnatic took the spot, why not another slayers player like Genius? It wasn't 'Fnatic' that took his spot, he was the top ranked Protoss on their Leader-board that they use to invite players into the league. Yup, it has nothing to do with the team, but the player's performance.

Wink-wink. Nudge nudge. But he probably is ill. If he just wanted to leave Slayers, he could have done so without dropping out of GSL. Basically giving up your Code A spot and making so you need to qualify again is a huge commitment. He has to be either wanting to retire or actually sick.

If there was a more serious undercurrent, then that's interesting in hindsight. Another Slayers player, Miya, said in an interview that Puzzle really was demoralized about his loss to the hero.join. Considering how a lot of other players who have lost to the Kespa players in WCS were all distraught, I'd say Puzzle really was pretty shattered

I'd like these sort of things to be clear before putting them in a news headline instead of an ambiguous "source". Mr Bitter mentioned it was pneumonia on Wednesday's broadcast. Other than that though there doesn't appear to be any official conformation. We wish him all the best and hope for a speedy recovery.
