This is bar none the worst deal in e-sports since KESPA stopped treating b-teamers like slave labor. At least b-teamers didn't have to pay the pro-gaming house. I'm actually sitting here laughing at how bad this is.
+food problems +they don't have a housecleaning service How did anyone sign this lol? Whole drama aside, this deal is just laughable.
They had a house cleaning service, We had a maid at the house 6 days a week for roughly 10 hours a day. The house was extremely clean at all times. Where did you even hear that?
What kind of house cleaning service is this lol? 6 days a week for 10 hours a day? What could they possibly spend so long of a time cleaning?
There's 2 staff that works here. They cook/clean the plates. Do laundry/clean different bathrooms/bedrooms. Not sure their hours but its like 6hours-8hours or something

Maybe you should go back and read Snutes long post before you jump to conclusions as to who's being shady.
I don't think they are "evil" they just don't run it very well, and handled this case poorly / wrongly. It is a great concept so hopefully they can get their act together and making it better environment for training.

btw this one is fake. Why is he posting one skype log in a picture and the other one in text? And he was still in his "sign till XX or leave" time when he asked for his money so yeah i wouldn't pay him back either at that time. He has to officially leave before he can see any refund or else he is still using their service.
So you're 100% sure this is fake? I mean you said "this one is fake" right? No you're not shut the fuck up. Tired of TL posters posting opinions or thoughts like fact, don't you think MoW would have jumped all over it? The reason that was posted as text was most likely because instead of annotating the image he simply copied the logs and removed the name for "boss" but I have no idea why or why it wasn't posted as an image, just like you.
Stop turning assumptions into proof, you're simply making an ass out of yourself. Until it is stated by MoW that this conversation didn't happen (and they read it so you think they would deny it) then it did happen.
Errrr, it is fake, read the last 4ish lines. Obviously the guys running the house have actually no idea about these things and how to run them. If they just officially appologized to Fuzer etc and said that they've made mistakes. Maybe then this thing wouldn't have gone out of hand this much. How they've reacted to this actually just hurts them.

Oh I totally agree, they first of all should hire someone for PR and secondarily a lawyer who knows what they're doing. After clearing this up with Fuzer and compensating for him. And releasing a proper statement.
Guys they didn't let him have a hardcopy of the contract for him or for his lawyer wanting it to keep it strictly confidential. Do you honestly think they would have sent him a copy via mail/email before he joined the house? He can then decline the contract and maybe go public with it post it on the internet etc.
Edit: Don't know what to think, and don't particularly care anymore, too many conflicting statements, I'll wait for a summary post to come up at some point...

You are literally killing eSports, gj stupid troll.
Rofl, this shady stuff MoW is pulling off is killing eSports.
Killing esports is gathering players in one place and allowing them to focus on practice + promoting them? Fuzer and his retarded defenders emailing sponsors without real knowledge what actually happened is killing esports...
I think you've just insulted an entire group of people(including me) unprovoked.
Can you give me the knowledge on why they didn't allow him to contact his lawyer and why they wanted proof of him being a real lawyer and why they didn't provide him with a Finnish translation of the contract with such a short deadline? Just can't have us having no knowledge, see.
Firstly, they didn't forbid him to contact his lawyer. Secondly, maybe MoW didn't want to release the contract details to a third party, so they wanted the confirmation that he's really Fuzer's lawyer. Short deadline... what is short deadline? MoW was fed up with Fuzer and his behaviour so they acted accordingly.
I edited that post of mine while you were posing. Here is the rest: Seriously though... Go and start your own practice house and wi'll see how you're doing in terms of legal matters and PR in a few months.
Fuzer is a douche, MoW are unexperienced. That's all. Give this project a breather guys... It's really good for SC2, players and esports to support those kind of endevours.
Lastly you guys jump to conclusions too quickly... I'll say it once more: MoW is good for esports for what they do for the scene and the players, no matter if they are unexperienced or whatever and it's beneficial for us all to support this project and try to be gentle with situations like this.
People skipping the thread so much, quote:

The main issue is them not letting him consult his lawyer about the contract(and not paying back immediately). Everything else, like the things with the house, are secondary.
They did let him, But he didn't get the proper verification from his lawyer.
Since you seem to be an expert at ignoring me, I'll try again. Verifying a lawyer (or any kind of legal counsel) is in no way shape or form standard practice. Actually it might be flat out illegal (depending on Fuzers age and his English skills, considering that he SAID that he doesn't feel comfortable signing an english contact before talking to his lawyer you CANNOT sign a binding contract with him until he has that advice or YOU get the contract translated into his mother tongue).
If you have doubts about the validity of someones credentials (VERY uncommon, usually a stalling tactic) you look him up in the register, instead of asking him to provide some kind of documentation (which could easily be faked, would you know how a finnish certificate is supposed to look like?).
To sum it up, their behaviour was unprofessional at best (and fairly idiotic, you don't just let someone move in without clearing up those details). Their behaviour after this mess started was flat out illegal at best (the skype log).
Yeah they can be fed up with him but that's not how you deal with that.
And to add, what people need to understand is that Ministry of win didn't try to scam or trick anyone, they just don't understand the conduct of proper business. They are doing allot of weird shit that makes no sense.
This. People need to stop the useless "email sponsors" and spamming happening in this thread. Hopefully MoW can learn from their mistake and continue a tad wiser to reach their goals.

'ill never understand ppl running business without a competent lawyer backing them up...

3. The NDA is a scare tactic. This is a very shady practice.
Final: Any persons who want to be viewed as a legitimate business deserve to be judged like one. I'm sorry that many of you MoW fanboys are upset by this, but the fact is, the owner brought this upon himself by not following unassailable business practices.
Well said my friend. I do not wish MoW to go down but they have to learn the lesson from this if they wish to be a legitimate business. As you said, there is too much shady stuff here.

I understand that you can type whatever you want and I read his edit, but he was alluding or frankly stating that Fuzer falsified the conversation which MoW has not made a comment on (which they surely would have if it was false representation, and Fuzer couldn't be that stupid to do that) so that is HIGHLY unlikely to have occured. The most likely case was he didn't feel like annotating his image and knowing that if he lied MoW has the exact same text document on hand to deny any false claims he simply just posted the logs as such to change the name to "boss"
Try to read again what I said if you don't mind, it had nothing to do with the childish edit and I just had to repeat myself.

That is shady though. That just shows how they have no idea about how to run this. Of course you let your customer see the contract and show it to his lawyer.

Sorry usually i don't jump to conclusions and read most of the thread but 4am and maybe jumped the gun, i'll browse through it and check his post aswell if i was wrong i'll even apologize
This what happens when people let power go to their head. "I'm the boss, this is the contract, I can do what I want and I have your money!" And then it gets posted online and the power dynamic is reversed and the "boss" gets embarrassed and flogged by the community.
One guy comes here are makes some claims, the situation seems to be a misunderstanding and should be solved quietly, but he decides to make a fuss about it. Fine, whatever. But what does community does? Behave like some mindless horde in 15th century, when someone passed a gossip that there's this strange girl and she's a witch. Hey bro, bring me my torch! Seriously people? A lot of players live in that house and no one complains.
For me the guy was stupid. Sorry, but it's common sense to make sure everything is legally right - when i went to UK to work it'd be a suicide to do something like that. The MoW's boss agreed to give him the money back really quickly in fact, and he should take it. No hard feelings. A misunderstanding, some people are not meant to cooperate. But he decided to go tabloid about it. I don't like that. Every time something like that happens, people tend to exaggerate and make drama about it. It's fucked up IMO, but that's how it works.
Now i read things like emailing sponsors - what the fuck? Seriously? Some people have too much free time. You act like this situation concerns you deeply, that it's e-sport you care a lot, but in reality it's not. It's no a LAN party made by friends, it's a business. So let it be a business. Some parties didn't agree and one of it was immature enough to make fuss about it. If all people behaved like that there would be no business in the world.
Easy example: Apple sued Samsuns and won over a 1,000,000,000 from them. Even though they still cooperate and Samsung sells it's memore, PCU's or whatever to Apple. It's just business.
Oh, and about some claims that 600euro/month is a ripoff and players are fucked in the ass. Some Polish people apparently wrote how you can live as a king for 600e. That's basically bullshit.
BUT: 1. We're talking about Warsaw here which is really expensive compared to rest of Poland.
2. This is quite large and high-standard house. Renting that is definitely something like 2000e AT LEAST (i'm not gonna risk my head over that, but it's safe to assume that).
3. There are other things, like prepared meals, coach, internet, water, electricity, blablabla - this costs!
4. Company has to earn it's money.
Personally i think 600e/month for opportunity to live in such house is a BARGAIN, and i say it even though i'm Polish and 2500pln (600e) is more than i earn monthly (and more than most people earn). You get to live in a great house, you get great technological standards, apparently only OK food standards (but that's easy to fix), and HUGE opportunities to develop as a player for 600e. Show me a better deal anywhere in the world.
Taking Fuzer's money and then refusing to refund it claiming "You have no proof" is unethical no matter what you think of anything else in this thread.
I'm pretty convinced pallad is "boss" having read every post in this thread.
Also, if people want to email MoW's sponsors based on the first sentence I wrote in this thread, that is their right.
