That said, I feel it's pretty abusive to ride on the popularity of others (read: day9) to kickstart her own "fame" after only having had a cameo appearance as a comedy sidekick at best. Oh well. If her heart is in it, then it's good. If she just wants her face out on screens to advance her "carreer", then she can kindly pack her bags and shove off.

Last time I checked sex sells pretty much all the time with anything and DOESNT kill anything. Ever heard of gaming convention centers? Booth girls? If you are old enough you'd know that from when that started until today they have actually generated such huge revenue from booth girls that its now like a main feature there.

The textbook example of a broadcaster pulling this off to perfection is "Gentleman" Jeff Marek when he went from "Pro Wrestling Radio Host" to "Hockey Night In Canada Anchorman". For Lindsey she merely sees "the SC2 Community" as a "means to a greater end". and that "end" does not include being a Hostess at the BNet World Championships in China. true, it's too easy for a semi-hot girl to walk into a niche market like sc2, which is predominately young males, and instantly create a fan base that they can then use to promote themselves in other areas. You could argue she has passion for the game but would she be here if esports was a moribund sport? no, she is passionate for exposure and promoting herself, and esports is a burgeoning market and one that is largely untapped and uncontested in the hot girl department . . .
