Well said my friend, the curse is the weakness of the NA server. He should stay and practice in Europe, better would be Korea though.

Yeah, because Huk's absence from the house has resulted in his complete avoidance of any bad play in tournaments.

He needs to switch the server, not his house. I think the whole "Lair" thing is really good, but the low quality training at the NA server is the real "curse".

So what would really be the difference between a team like EG and Startale (apart from the obvious)? Is it that Korean teams have better practice regiments or better competition to practice with? How is it that Korean teenagers are dominating Code S while foreign teams with older players can hardly compete?

I'm so disappointed by this. Anyone else and I would have cheered but <3 Stephano, get away from US server.

Korean practise schedule is 10x harder Korean Server is 10x harder Korean mentality is 10x better
Thats pretty much everything why ALL foreigners can't compete on the same level with koreans its not about "talent". Thts the excuse for lacking in practise and mindset

finally they actually came out and said what everyone already knew. Love the video, pretty funny!

Makes sense. Anytime I've seen a Korean player enter the NA server they immediately shoot up to the top of Grandmasters. I wonder what they do specifically?? Do they just play endless games against each other or do they strategize their practice regiments? What's the missing ingredient?

Doesn't Scarlett play exclusively on the NA Server? And she's a baws.

Hey, has anyone else noticed how it seems like every star player that join EG just starts doing really poorly? Like they only go for the money or something, maybe it's just me but stephano might stop performing after this. Just saying :/

I believe it is an incentive problem.
It is easy to understand that EG has the money to pay their star SC2 players a livable income. When you're already making $40k+++ a year you don't really have to rely on tournament winnings to sustain a comfortable lifestyle. If someone like Stephano, who is rumored to be making six-figures, it is hard to justify putting in so much effort into winning a $5k tournament when you make more than that a month. Of course no player would outright admit this, but I'm sure there is some meta-analysis in some scientific journal correlating this phenomena.
