erik lonnquist @GoSuDoa In the hospital. Something way way wrong with my stomach. I'll be ok it looks like, but no Korea. Sorry guys.
erik lonnquist @GoSuDoa No idea what's going to happen but you can be sure I'll keep casting! I'm on what they told me is morphine, but stronger atm. Worst pain evr
Sounds pretty serious, hope everything is gonna be alright. I wonder how OSL is gonna fix the casting situation now.

I think the absence of Doa is the least of their concerns atm.

Get better bro. You will get to Korea soon enough.

Could it be his appendix? I had a nasty bout of appendicitis last week, which cleared up by itself after some antibiotics. Anywho, hope he gets better soon.

I was just wondering about Doa with all of the recent news about KeSPA and the OSL. Hope he gets better in a hurry and we can all hear him cast again soon.

The only caster left on the english broadcasting will be moletrap. Considering the general consensus about his casting here and on reddit it would make the OS2L rather easy to 'boycott'.

it's a conspiracy, a GOM fanboy must have poisoned Doa to stop the OSL

Stomach problems are often stress related, so I'm a bit afraid this Kespa/Osl/Gsl drama hasn;t been too good for you when you just arrived in Korea with big hopes and plans only to arrive in a conflict.
That's not worth it, chill, relax, don't worry too much, nothing more important than your health, the drama will blow over.
|
Damn, I really hope he gets better Sounds like appendicitis but they would have already known if that was the case right?
|
I know how he feels. They put him on morphine, could be anything. Get well soon mate!

I was hospitalized with an unknown stomach pain also, it was so intense I passed out....kinda wierd.
|
Here is to a speedy recovery!

HOW CONVENIENT FOR eSF...
i kid
(do i???)
edit: also, get better, etc
|
I woke up with severe stomach pain a couple months ago one morning and was yelling in pain for several hours before I was taken to the ER and they discovered it was appendicitis via ultrasound.
I had surgery later that day and everything went very smoothly.
If that's what he has - it's very easy for them to remove safely using laproscopic surgery and he'll recover within a couple weeks.
Edit: They released him without figuring out what the cause is??? If it was appendicitis it should've been simple to detect with a CT scan. I hope they aren't missing something... If I were him I would tell them I'm not going home until they figure out what is going on... Don't want to fuck with stuff like this.

No Korea ... for the moment? Or for a long time?

I had the exact same problem a few years back. The absolute worst sharp stomach pain it felt like a knife was constantly stabbing me. Went to the ER, got an ultrasound done, doctors found nothing.

Hopefully that's all it is and you'll be fine the next day.

I had my gallbladder removed, too. The process can be read about here: http://www.nlm.nih.gov/medlineplus/ency/article/007371.htm
TLDR version, they make 4 tiny cuts. They pump gas in one right between your ribs and blow your abdomen up a bit like a balloon. One they stick a camera through your naval, and the last two are used for medical tools and actually removing the organ. The external damage to your body is very small, you generally go home the next day. Internally you ache like a motherfucker for about a week because of the ballooning process, its like you're bruised from the inside. But, relatively no risk other than pain and they usually hook you up with good painkillers.
Doa will be OK, but he might have to avoid greasy food for a while, unless he likes having the shits.

Some people just get gall stones no matter what diet they have, it is hereditary. But food oils (ESPECIALLY the processed stuff from fast food restaurants) can really aggravate the condition.
I had mine out at age 22, very early, likely because my parents had it AND my diet was awful.
