Think before you post. This should go without saying, there are so many people making absolutely idiotic comments in this thread. If you have nothing constructive to say, please don't say anything.

Liquid's positive results = Taeja + Hero. I'm not saying anything about EG, just the part about liquid is wrong. Both TLO and jinro have come within one series (and in both cases) one game away from code A which is a feat that very few non koreans can claim they've done. Jinro/TLO/DeathAngel/Macsed/Torch are the only foreigners that I can think of that have been in the finals of a code A qualifier since code A started. And as the case with Jinro (and deathangel) they've done it more than once. TLO also came close to being seeded into IEM from the Korean bracket (losing 2-3 to inori who eventually did qualify) EDIT: Added Macsed to the list of code A qualifier finalist foreigners EDIT2: Added Torch so we are considering almost qualifying for tournaments notable success's? That's basically what you get to talk about regarding foreigners. If people took 20 seconds to think before posting, they would realize that every foreign team is chock full of players who have accomplished little to nothing in the way of concrete results. That is what happens when every tournament's top8 gets shipped out of Korea. But w/e most people here are just jumping on the anti-EG bandwagon, I guess that's what the cool kids do nowadays.

Demuslim was just unproven talented player, but most importantly, he was the only good player in one of the biggest western market. Recruiting Demuslim made perfect sense from that point of view. Idra can play like shit, but he still is marketable as the best known north-american player. LOL Puma went on to win a couple tournaments and place top 3 in multiple others while serving as their Ace, but they jumped the gun on him? you serious bro? That's been their best signing to date. JYP is in Code S for them right now too btw. DeMusliM is extremely popular and has had some decent runs. Oh and there is this kid Suppy, who in his first international tournament 3-0'd Kas and 3-1'd Ret and nearly took out Hero. Bad scouting record. lmfao.

Or puma coming top 3 in 6 eu tournaments after joining, or thorzain for winning wcs in his country right after joining, or idra for being considered a top foreigner for a while after he was picked up. Wouldnt it be just a shame?

Would rather see good korean teams picking up players, rather than they jump on a team surrounded by nobody that can help them get better. Dont get me wrong they are probably the most famous, most well played, most successful foreign team financially, but all we see from players who get on EG is a simple lack of motivation. They have already made it onto the highest paying foreign team on the scene, what do they get for improving? More losses to top level korean players. And its not like there is a team to get traded up to from EG. EG is the peak of foreign SC2 in terms of success, once they reach the limit they lose motivation for getting better. just my .02$

It will be the same for him if he was playing at home or Mill house or EG, becuase he doesn't have to learn stuff to improve, he just experiments in his head. The only difference will be Milleniums $1000 per month salary versus $2500-3500 per month salary at EG. Good luck man, you deserve it. I hear its more like +15k$ per month. I hope you're not delusional enough to believe that. They make $50-60k a year MAX... and I think I'm being generous there. Honestly most of you are probably not out of high school and don't have a clue about salaries in the real world... $15k/month = $180,000 / year. That's more than engineers with 20 years work experiences, on par with average doctors salaries, etc.. You really believe someone who plays a video game that ONLY contributes sponsor exposure makes THAT much money? Seriously, you people need to get a clue. IIRC ~15k was what Moon made when he was the absolute Top dog in wc3 on team wemadefox. So who knows. But come on people, I am also not that fond of EG, but hating on Thorzain and not mentioning his recent successes... Hating for hate's sake is not cool - bit of funny trolling on the other hand is ![]() I rejoiced to have heard something really positive from Demu after he really fell off for a while after joining EG( and breaking his arm and other mishaps to be fair...) The EG-curse is kind of a funny gag and easily applicable in a very unstable game like Sc2 where there are literally no absolute consistent progamers as of yet.
