Think before you post. This should go without saying, there are so many people making absolutely idiotic comments in this thread. If you have nothing constructive to say, please don't say anything.

JYP was looking like he could win a Code S tournament but never improved to be able to. Same with Puma. Never improved. Players like lzgamer and machine have never placed high in any tournaments. Like Liquid'Tyler (even HuK) said, if you want to stay "dominant", you got to adapt and change your playstyle, due to the ever changing metagame. Relying on a certain mechanic or build order is not going to maintain your relevance in the pro-scene for long. As of now, HuK is still a micro intensive player without any new build orders, any significant improvement in his macro abilities, or a stronger idea of positioning and map controlling. Idra is still an macro monster who relies a lot on massing units (even his upgrade timings are below average). Also, he still makes a lot of costly mistakes such as poor engagements or bad unit control and gets tilted pretty easily. Puma still relies on a lot of abusive plays such as greedy CC's or cheesy all-ins. Puma had really scary executions. But by now, everyone knows how Puma plays and can react to his playstyle accordingly. DeMuslim, JYP, and Thorzain were always considered to be high-tier players with good mechanics, but they were never "outstanding". Everyone else sucks (in pro-gaming terms). I guess the difference between Stephano and the other top players is very solid decision-making capabilities, even though a lot of avid zerg fans nitpick his slightly flawed mechanics. But I think EG is good for him but a heart-breaker for the foreign fans hoping for a dominant foreigner.

Huk is the one true one at this point. And someone who has been on one team for 2 years counts as a slump because of eg? can u show me one other player other than mvp mc or nestea who has been consistent through that time? Also Puma had 6 top 3 finishes in tournaments after joining eg. And are we comparing eg a foreign team to other foreign teams, or are we comparing them to korean teams?

Joined EG, did fairly well, got into a bit of a slump, then broke out with IEM/Asus and then had a good showing at Orlando/IPL3, then now.

Otalio with regards to those results lets look at other results from other countries while we're at it. Question: Do you honestly think Scarlett is the best player in Canada at the moment? Take those results with a grain of salt. They aren't as important as people make them out to be especially the Swedish ones with all the star power and you can make valid reasons as to why Naniwa isn't playing so well in that type of format after being in the GSL for the last while. IMO Scarlett is, by far, the best player in Canada and has the potential to become the best in NA, many people will agree
