1 year contracts? Why? I mean if your offering a competitive salary (1 year ago for example when Stephano resigned to MIllenium) why not give him a 24 month contract? Surely the money would of been good enough back 12months ago for Stephano to think, well yeah actually a 2 year contract with this amount of money seems like a good deal. Then they would not have to come up to this junction a year later having teams been poaching him (we dont concretley know who yet) and offering him deals. I know there is no rules to follow and alot of teams seem like there breaking laws by touting players before their contract has officially ended, but when your only offering 1 year deals i cant help but think why! If your giving 2 year deals, and a team wanted to sign Stephano so badly they would have to pay compensation for him to break his contract with his team (transfer fee) and then it starts to become more standard and a lot better in player transfers/swapping whatever you want to call it. If there starts to become more of a standard procedure put into place by each of the teams as there is no governing body that oversee's this sort of buisness it will start to get better, and there wouldnt be a shit load of petty drama everytime a player decides to left team x and join team y Just my view, from a professional football background... | ||

What would happen when he moves to a new team? How will this "awesome salary" affect him(his gameplay and mindset). Will there be a required practice regiment? How could this new schedule affect his play if there is one? If team Evil Geniuses is considering picking up Stephano, this will definitely be a huge pickup!
