Stephano leaving Millenium, [possibly] to EG - Page 9

Think before you post. This should go without saying, there are so many people making absolutely idiotic comments in this thread. If you have nothing constructive to say, please don't say anything.

Some variety would be nice. wtf there are still people believing that Stephano practices 3-4 hours a day ? Wake up please.

And JYP, and Puma. Too soon to tell if Thorzain is better, but he did win a major championship faster while in EG than in Mousesports. It took him a year to win a major tournament with mousesports and only a couple of weeks with EG.

It is only reasonable that Stephano goes to EG, to get as much cash as he can and then go to studying.

Like even that is doubtful. He was great in the GSTL and had just won NASL before joining. Still, what's happened to HuK, who was the best foreign player when in liquid, and quickly fell off the scene entirely after joining EG? Where's Idra?

Seriously, guys, wtf. The only bad thing about Stephano signing with EG is the amount of exposure he's going to get, and that's only bad if you hate the French. EG is turning into a worldwide team, and we should be glad that they're kind of destroying the line between foreigner and korean teams. One day, assuming all goes well with the scene, this is what teams will be for every eSport. A conglomerate of all races and backgrounds under a unified banner. Would you rather there was no team with money in the scene? Are you that blind to assume that everyone in eSports is in it for the love of the games? EG has money, there's no denying it, they've built their brand and they excel at what they do. The best place for the best players is the place that can best provide what they need. What they do with that is up to them, and to blame the team providing them with money and benefits to keep their dreams alive for poor results is horseshit. Don't forget how drastically this game changes. And if there's this mythical EG curse how do you explain JWong? EG doesn't only provide for SC2, remember. Regardless, I'm hoping that this deal comes to fruition, and that Stephano continues to do well, and that the rest of EG starts performing better to shut this mob-whining up.

Also idra posted all his results while being on EG. Nobody can say his run last fall wasn't great and that was in the hands of EG.. But anyway, if this is real, then we know what en raidcall money is going to.. ![]()
