Apparently its like razer but sweedish :O It's more like steelseries if anything, Razer cares much about it having to look really awesome, especially their keyboards, while this looks like more quality and durable stuff(razer gear has a huge reputation for not last a very long time in general) Their keyboard also is just standard keys, with usb and sound/mic port in front, as the steelseries ones, although theirs is backlit unlike steelseries, but the resemblance is very close in design at least Righto.. Which is why I've had to replace my steelseries stuff more often than my Razer gear ^_^ Don't get me wrong, I love both. I'm just getting tired of getting broken stuff straight out of the box from Steelseries :p Anyway, grats to NaNi for getting picked up, even if it's just for IEM Personal sponsorships seem to be getting more and more popular for a lot of pro's if its broken out of the box doesn't that probably just mean that your postmans an asshole? because all the shit you buy is delivered by a postman
I've had my fair share of broken mice bought directly from store with steelseries. luckily it was the cheapo kinzu mouse but still, cheap doesn't mean it's acceptable for the sensor to constantly go haywire and be 100% unmanagable for several seconds.

sounded like Mewmix at first lol. Grats Nani

Im swedish and still have never heard of them ^^;;
Since most people didnt know about their company it was probably a great move to sponsor such an esports icon like Naniwa

Guessing this means they fund his trip, flight, room & board, to and from Korea. And if he wins IEM... then we see.
GL Naniwa!

Grats for Nani, nice to see

I'm Swedish and I had never even heard of Mionix but now I have.

I am sooo jelly, Mionix got such a sick keyboard that I would like to lay my fingertips on, for free -_- but naniwa wont only get that but cash aswell ofc.
GG Nani!

This explains everything. Though I wonder why he couldn't have stayed with StartaleQ and kept this as a sponsorship.
|
I swear the sponsor name said meow mix when i opened the thread LOL.
|
Congratz to Nani! Best of luck! Hope he does well at IEM!

Great move by Mionix, getting everyone to know their brand, and not getting caught with a long contract with such a complicated player to manage. Very well done. I don't expect them to renew their partnership, or at least not for now.

I have a Mionix 5000 mouse, best mouse I had. Nice!
|
Pretty cool and I think the personal sponsorship fits NaNiwa and his attitude. He doesn't seem like the kind of player to ever rely on a team and his main priority is individual leagues so why join one?
|
Hmm interesting , when i think of personal sponsorships, Naniwa isn't the first person i would choose to take the roll, but maybe i'm wrong - all the best to both parties!
|
Yeah, and I guess team ICA was real too
On a serious note, it seems pretty weird that it's THAT short term unless they have an unofficial agreement that we don't get to know about yet...

Don't see whats weird with just a one time sponsoring for a single event, happens all the time in other games

Great partnership.
I am a massive fan of Mionix products. I have used multiple peripheries from multiple companies, and the Mionix Naos is the clear winner amongst all of them. It is the most ergonomic mouse I have ever used. I have the zibal 60 as well, but its really nothing special. Its pretty much the same as the meka g1, ozone strike, which are all rebranded wasd keyboards, only difference being the zibal has LEDs. Their company is great. They give out free keycap replacements because a early batch of their keycaps had faulty paint. They also give you a free mousepad for the trouble.
Compare that with razer's cheap materials, rubber that wears out, glossy plastic that picks up dead skin, horrible lemon rate, horrible customer service.
