Good move by mionix, I guess. A short term deal with one of the most high profile guys, both liked and hated by many. Will generate a lot of googles for them, cos I don't think many people know what mionix is.

Thats is for sure, googled Mionix this morning, thus telling me who they were. I like their keyboard, looks nice. Might be a keyboard i consider in the future. Good luck to both though!

For the folks visiting this thread, I want to say I've had a Mionix Naos 3200 (same shell as the 5000) for a few years now, and it is easily the best mouse I've ever own. Incredibly comfortable ergornomics, light and nimble, always accurate. High quality, good feeling coating.

I recommend the Mionix Naos 3200 to any [right-handed] gamer or casual user who wants a comfortable mouse, and the 5000 to those who prefer laser over optical sensors.

I've known about mionix for the last few years after seeing giveaways and such of their products on PCGamer magazine. Their products definately are really good. I've been looking for their mouse mats too but it seems every place is out of stock.
Anyways, gratz to naniwa and lets hope mionix can continue sponsoring more esports!

Got the Naos 5000 and its got a really nice grip, its super sensitive though so you need a really good mousepad otherwise it will just vibrate across the screen.

I had a Mionix mouse... they where bad so i feel kinda bad that he is sponsored by them .. there tech support sucks

and didnt have a great experience with them ... that sucks.. hope him the best though.

This is true for all the Avago 9500 (Avago 9500=the actual laser sensor part inside the mouse) mice (steelseries sensei, xai, razer taipan, a couple of the logitechs, several other 'flagship' mice).

The best kind of mouse pad for them is a hard pad, stay away from soft cloth pads. Though I simply prefer optical to laser, no problems with any surface then
