Not really sure why they chose to make Naniwa a face for Mionix. Hope they're keyboard doesn't fail while he's playing at a major tournament. "Joke company, horrible keyboard" on stream.

About their keyboards

A steel frame just makes it heavy :p
And you shouldn't hit your keyboard either way, and broken out of the box issues won't be fixed by a steel frame :D
It's the electronics inside that are faulty to begin with.

Congrats to Naniwa! Still basically it's somewhat of a trail, since one event is too little it looks like a good opportunity for Naniwa, I hope we see more of this!
With an average game length of 7m36s over his 6 games in GSL3, this is a no-brainer. BitByBit pulls more SCVs than yo momma at a club on Mar Sara. ♞

I have never heard of Mionix.

Damn are their products overpriced for an unknown company. Oh well congrats to Naniwa.

Dont know about other countries but just had a look at major online UK retailers (overclockers, play.com, amazon etc). Prices seem same or slightly more than Razer by like 5-10%.

I do like the keyboard but wish it had cherry browns or blues...

Depending on how they feel about the partnership after IEM, they'll either develop/prolong it or let it end. I'm pretty sure they're just covering his travel/accomodation costs for IEM Cologne.

Grats to nani but what the hell is Mionix?...

Apparently its like razer but sweedish :O

I'd say steelseries if you want to get into the specifics of their products. good build quality but the drivers are always trouble. Their mice are some of the best I've ever tried but the naos drivers for example crashes when you use it on 64 bit OS. Pretty annoying considering how much you pay for it.

I would still really like an EGnaniwa. Timing was off, that's all. Congrats nonetheless. Hopefull his next personal sponsorship will be like Microsoft or Apple.

you know... razer is already overpriced because of their bad value.
I've read it so often, but never took it too serious. But after i had mine, my roommate his one too and a friend of mine (all of us black widow) also one.. we all have/hab problems. Keys broken, shift key doesn't operates correctly, enter key stoped working ...

Edit: And those 50.000.000 key lifetime is a joke. Every often used key has some kind of issue.

Yep Razer is overpriced. But unfortunately it seems all gaming-gear manufacturers just price their products near or above the Razer range. Roccat being a slight exception, with certain products. But I have to say I have razer mouse, keyboard and mousepad and all so far have been fine.

Since when is it justifiable to splash out £20 for a freaking mousepad lol. And I say that having splashed out £20 for a freaking mousepad :S

PS: but im interested in learning more about this Mionix brand. Hopefully they release a nice brown (or blue)-switch keyboard
