That's pretty unexpected but also interesting. Gl to both i guess Bad joke but aint all Nani's sponsorship short term? He was in dignitas for 9 months and Quantic for 7 months, wouldnt really call it short term. That's very short term considering most contracts are a full year. He was also short-term on coL. Most esports contracts aren't a full year, they're pretty evenly divided between 6 months, 9 months and 12 months. Naniwa left Dignitas after his contract went out (which implies that he had a 9 months contract).
(Sjow, Sleep, Golden are players that comes to mind that've recently changed teams/filed free agency after having their 6 month contracts run out lately).
Please don't talk bs.

Apparently its like razer but sweedish :O
It's more like steelseries if anything, Razer cares much about it having to look really awesome, especially their keyboards, while this looks like more quality and durable stuff(razer gear has a huge reputation for not last a very long time in general)
Their keyboard also is just standard keys, with usb and sound/mic port in front, as the steelseries ones, although theirs is backlit unlike steelseries, but the resemblance is very close in design at least

As for the short-term sponsorship afaik they are just sending him to IEM the way ASUS sent Naniwa and Sase to Dreamhack. Doesn't appear to be anything more than that, yet.
Really? I'm buying one right now then, meaning that I have a mech board of blue, red, and now green colors!

I'm Swedish and a peripherals nut and I've never heard of this company before...

I remember someone in a tournament to a steelseries keyboard as well, smashed his hands 3 times very hard on it, after that he just looked silly picking up the keycaps from the floor to reattach them

I guess short term means "until he joins a team". It is very likely that such a team will have conflicting sponsors. (Isn't Razor a conflicting sponsor, this rules out almost all teams)

Best choice for him .... not having to deal with teammates etc and being able to be on his own. Best of luck johan!

Righto.. Which is why I've had to replace my steelseries stuff more often than my Razer gear ^_^ Don't get me wrong, I love both. I'm just getting tired of getting broken stuff straight out of the box from Steelseries :p
Anyway, grats to NaNi for getting picked up, even if it's just for IEM Personal sponsorships seem to be getting more and more popular for a lot of pro's

doesnt say short term on official release o.o

:O generally people complain way more about razer breaking, and steelseries being robust and long lasting, maybe you are just very very unlucky person, or steelseries hate you

With the reason behind his departure of Quantic, he's probbly not going back to the Startale house anytime soon.

Mionix is a really good company, especially the Naos 5000 received some great reviews. Too bad the prices are too high.
Overall a pretty good move from them.

Oooor, steelseries ain't as robust as you want us to believe? :p Every brand has a certain % of faulty hardware out of the box. Altho Razer seems to mostly have issues with their keyboards. (not that I've personally noticed but.. yeah T_T)

just saw the Real talk episode with him, nice to see things are going well, gl at IEM!
